Recipes I used in this vlog:
🍞 Lambrini's sour dough bread recipe
place the flour of your choice in a bowl and add half the sourdough starter. Add a spoonful of four to the remaining sour starter and leave in fridge for next time. In the bowl add water and mix in the flour and starter , also some salt and oil, the dough should be quite wet but not too sloppy. Cover with wet tea towel and leave overnight. In the morning add some more flour and seeds if you like and shape into a loaf, place in a banetton or loaf tin and leave to rise for 2-3 hours. If the dough is active you can bake after 1h or if it's not active you can leave for longer. Bake preferably with a lid on gas 5 for 40-50 minutes, uncover for the last 10-15 mins until fully baked. Enjoy!

Well that has inspired me to do some baking. Your home is looking lovely. X
Hi Izzy, it's been lovely watching to see how you have decorated your little cottage for the festive season! Looks so warm and cosy... just love what you've done! I've experienced the English Christmas 🎄 they're great! I was born in England but moved to Australia with my parents when I was 6 yrs old! I've been back twice but not for many years now! Christmas in Australia is very different with the hot weather but still very enjoyable. So loving your content and everything you are sharing with us. Love, Joy and blessings to you both, Bub and your families. Cheers 🍻🥰
My first time watching and what a lovely video and such a warm person, will def follow and have subscribed.Take care xx
I'm loving the new content, and I'm excited for you both for the baby. Miss seeing Tom, but he's busy I'm sure. Blessings to you both.
A great video, loved seeing the decorations go up and seeing how you placed them around the house. Loved the recipes too.
I have just found you here, and have given you a thumbs up, and subscribed to your channel. It is no wonder you are feeling tired in your pregnancy, but you seem so happy and full of life. I live in West Devon, England, so not far from you guys, and I live alone with my beautiful black rescue greyhound Madge. I agree totally with you about getting out in nature for a walk when you are feeling low - it lifts your spirits, gives you fresh air, and clears your mind. Due to my severe anxiety, I only go out of my rural home to walk Madge, and am so lucky to be surrounded by nature right from my front door. Even though I spend Christmas Day on my own with Madge, I have my pot grown Christmas tree in my sitting room now, and have the lights on it already. As it is the 1st December today, I am going to start decorating it, and my little house. We 6 houses down here, already have Christmas lights up outside on our fences down our private lane, and it looks so beautiful when they are switched on at 4.00 pm. I love Christmas, and all the decorations lift the spirits I feel. Blessings to you from Jilly & Madge. xxx
Always so good to see you!! Love your decorations from the Charity shop!! And your baked treats look delicious x
Lovely to see you and hear your Christmas excitement with the decorations ❤
What great timing !! I sat down to start wrapping my Christmas presents just as started watching this ❤ I love all your decorations and would you believe am also making those exact chocolates this year for gifts 😮
Great video! I wasn’t really feeling the Xmas spirit at all until I watched your last 2 videos. You inspired me to go op shopping! (We call charity shops op shops here in Australia) I haven’t found as many awesome things as you did, but I’ll keep looking. There are lots of them around my local area. I love the idea of supporting charities while I decorate my house. Now we have our tree up too. Love the baking ideas too. Thank you for sharing the Christmas spirit! 🎄
Izzy I loved every component of this, you’re a ray of sunshine
Sourdough starter can stand a lot if kept in the fridge. I bring mine out & feed it, if I forget things, just scrape off anything (or a lot!) that’s questionable & give it a refresh! You’ll get the hang of it quickly
I love your Christmas decorations. Your cottage looks so cosy. Great Christmas cooking.
That was a very wholesome video! Well done Izzy, the chocolates and cookies looked great xx
Well done Izzy. Home made gifts are very nice as it shows you've put some thought into it.
See you next week.
Take care and stay safe.😊
Loved the video, missing seeing Tom I hope he’s ok, the bump is getting bigger it’s so exciting I bet you can’t wait for the baby, take care xx
Wow! You Really have got me in the festive spirit 🧑🎄🧑🎄🧑🎄the house looks AMAZING loved your baking and chocolate making 🎉🎉
Absolutely loving the festive content!!! Will definitely try out the truffle recipe ;)
Hi Izzy, your decorations look amazing in your lovely cottage 😍... you chose so well 👌. Hope Tom was delighted with them too... you've made a gorgeous cosy home there 🙏💖🎄. Bless you with the lack of sleep... hope you manage to sleep better soon. Your yoga idea sounds good 🧘. Enjoy your lovely Christmassy house Izzy and look forward to your next vlog 😁🤗💖🎅☃️🎄😘
Love the book nativity thing!😊
Did this for my granddaughter. Lovely idea but charity shops in Cornwall must be a lot cheaper than Northern Ireland. Was fun doing though
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉made my night can’t wait to watch 🎉
If you like fruit cake you should make a boiled fruit cake. It is easy because you melt the fat rather than having to work it into the flour /sugar.
Yeah another very entertaining video my lovely. Looking forward to seeing more of your Christmas blogs.👍
Noovember 30, 2024 Maryland, USA; Watching you untangle the lights was too cute. your wwalk and the trees down is so sad, but you are absolutely correct that a bit of exercise when you are pregnant. I love how you find great things at the charity shops. I have a granddaughter 20 years old and she has an apartment this year that everthing are finds. Finnds are free, She re did a gorgeous dining table of solid wood. we gave her. living room sofa and chair we no longer needed. I would love to see more young adults, here in the USA they are called thrift shops, visit charity shops. There is such an adventure in it. I have done the same going to ones here with her.. Sourdough kit is going to be her Christmas gift. I love the use of the Biskoff for the chocolate balls. Your cottage is lovely. Ohj your day of baking goodies. I would have dunk the cookies or drizzled with chocolate. Great energertic day for you.
Another awesome video! Cookies look yummy!
A lovely Christmas spirit video!
It's a Paul Hollywood handshake for the cookies😀
A heart of gold 💛
Really enjoyed your video! ❤
I could get used to two videos a week Izzy 👍😁
What the notTuesday is this! 😃 Yay!
Cheeky little bonus Izzy
Had vision of you sitting on sofa when Tom comes home n your face just full of chocolate lol like naughty little kid who stuffed her face n ate the lot lol
I need to re-find the sourdough mother recipe where you don't throw any away - I hate waste after all the effort that's gone into getting the crop to me. It's very simple but I just can't remember the quantities. Early on in lockdown, I panicked and threw the first batch away, because I thought it was off, and remembered the horror stories about that village in France.
Awsome 🤶
@LostInTransit Great vlog, if you don't mind me asking where did you go walking in the beginning of the vlog? It looks amazing, I'd love to visit. Thanks
I love your vlogs and you're such a delightful human. Your family must be very proud of you and I can't wait to watch you as a Mummy. I hope you won't worry about any mistakes (you will make them). It's how we learn. Meanwhile, have a lovely, peaceful Christmas.
oh did you say you had to find a power connector for the tree 😮 sweetheart it could be a fire risk as these things can only use the transformer that goes with it please take care because its not working proper means the power connector is incompatible
i am no Electrician but i know the warnings they put on these things
You are such a sweet and fun person❤ gorgeous 👧
being hot is all that extra blood pumping around your body, house looks lovely and christmassy
Put a pillow between your kness in bed trust me I suffer from sore bk it helps keep your spine aligned while sleeping
Hey Iz! Nice to see you but where's Tom? Would be nice to see some of him in your clips as well. Okay, he works a lot but not 24/7 so he's probably at home sometimes. Hugs from Denmark
I’m loving not seeing or hearing him 😂 team Izzy ❤
@@KewiCampervan Hey Izzy! I don't think I understand what you mean. In that clip when you showed Tom that you got pregnant, you were happy. But okay, I'm a bit older (67 years old) and male, so maybe that's why I don't understand. But in any case, have a nice December and Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Hugs from Denmark
Loved the video
So cozy
Hi Izzy! I'm new & I wanted to say I love the decorations. I put lights on the doorway & the walls . I find it so much more cozy. I also wanted to suggest making gingerbread people cookies. It's something fun & messy & you could eventually make them with baby. The recipe I found & plan on trying is : Google- the salted sweets soft gingerbread cookies with cinnamon icing 😊🧸👩🍳🎄
Welcome!! Thank you :) :)
@LostInTransit 😊☺
