For the pride shoes if they'd been blue and not red they'd been legal. But the rule states it has to be a majority of that teams color. I wouldn't blame the MLB for that one. If the guy wanted to celebrate pride moth he should have still followed rules and a got a blue pair of shoes with rainbow stripes
The last one with the pine tar being too long was figured out to be not true and they had to replay the game. George Brett absolutely lost his mind when he was thrown out for it as he should

Brett had legit argument, that pine tar had no effect on the ball, or where he had hold of it. In fact it would have slowed down the ball if anything. It it was a bunt attempt however it would had definitely affected the play. A better ruling whould be to remove the bat from play, and fine brett later.
And then the President of the American League reinstated George Brett's HR and ordered the Royals and Yankees to finish the game...25 days after it looked like it was over.
The guy who hit the home run and they took it away had every right to be pissed off like he was. Pine tar at the top of the bat would probably have opposite effects so not sure how it’s cheating.
