Melody was also awesome back when she played bass. After she quit playing bass, and her dad turned her into a screaming clown she went downhill a bit and Abby was able to rise up.

And then we also get to see Ethan playing rhythm guitar for which he's pretty good at. But for me since I first discovered Liliac I've felt Abigail was the strong point. I personally think they're each talented and play their instruments well. That includes Samuel and Justin too.
Agreed, Melody on Bass and the younger brother on Rhythm guitar was a much better sound for the band, they were fuller and it allowed a much better cover potential as well as original material. Melody needs to be back on bass and vocals as it was. They are still great no hate here at all.
It's amazing how much Abigail improved over the years, she just became an accomplished drummer right before our eyes. The difference between 2015 and now is simply phenomenal for the entire band, especially Melody.

I remember a critic who seemed to be trying to damn with faint praise when he called a drummer's style "Four on the floor". That term came to mind the first time I saw a vid of this band, like hell yeah this ain't a Porsche with a eight-speed automatic, this band is a '70 Nova with a big block & a stick shift that makes all the car alarms go off just driving by.
You can really see the progression of how Abigail improves over the years, from the choppy beats, timing off and to the hot damn she's right on to mastering the double bass pedals Abigail is the consummate professional keep smiling while you play cause you're having fun. That's what it's all about. Keep learning as you go always. It's been fun watching you ! ! !

Abby has come a long way, just as all of them have gotten better on their instruments and tighter as a band. With Abby being the time setter it was really important for her to on the clock. A few years ago it was, “Abigale is a really good girl drummer”, now it’s more like, “Abby is a real good drummer”, no longer needing the qualifier that she’s female. She’s just a great drummer now. I hope one day they’ll feel ready to take on a Rush tune. Who better to sing Geddy Lee than Melody. She has the range for sure. That cover of Seven Nation Army showed just how high she can sing and she’s always had a very low range for a female vocalist. She’s one of the few female singers I have ever heard who can sing male vocal parts and no go breathy on the real low notes that most females just were evolved to hit. How she hits some of those low notes is amazing, but I didn’t realize just how high she could sing until the Seven Nation Army. That’s let’s me know Melody is ready for a Rush song. Whether Abby and Ethan are ready we won’t know unless they take on a progressive rock song from Yes, Rush or Dream Theater. Even some Jethro Tull would be cool, but Ian’s vocals are a bit low for a female to sing. Melody showed some flute skills in their last cover “Close My Eyes Forever”, now try that flute on some Tull. That would be cool. Show is some diversity.

I have to say that first yes, she is AMAZING!!!! BUT WHAT DRAWS ME TO WANT TO WATCH HER SO CAREFULLY IS THE SMILE. Even when the song is one that is not normally a smile type song and when she has been hammering away forever, she has the brightest uplifting smile. I could also say the same for Mel as far as the smile goes. It just makes you feel good and know that they are giving everything to make it perfect.
Watching her drumming sometimes make me feel like I’m waiting for the drums to take off like a rocket the way she getting so fast. Awesome drumming there . All those years of hard work and practice pays off. 🥁
What a fun watch! I've been following these kids (that are mostly grown up now) for a few years, and I absolutely love what they are doing! It's great to see at least a smattering of rock n roll in the young generation! Kudos to their Dad for bringing them up with an appreciation for great rock n roll music!!!

When I watch Ms Cristea on the kit two drummers come to mind, (this is a compliment if you are reading this) Tori Costellano of "the donnas" and "Animal" from th Muppets, so much joy and intensity. Makes me smile.
I could keep up with her hands but her foot technique knocks me out of the park. She is very solid and her timing is fantastic. I can just watch her having fun behind her many many kits lol.

I have always felt that the younger brother on the keyboards was it really necessary keyboards technically died out in the mid part of the 80s and 90s, we're always awesome covering other songs and only that handful that they wrote and produced of their own was even more awesome their own sound but Abigail I believe is the backbone of the band it's her spirit and her smile while doing the drums
