Alright everyone, I screwed up. While we were watching Jack's Lament, we paused to talk around 0:50. As we were going back into the video, Cindy asked me to go back 30 seconds. For some reason I went forward and skipped a whole section. I'm sorry. That has never happened before. I'll definitely be thinking of this blunder every time we decide to go backwards and re-watch a section in the future.
Also, we did watch the outro on the second video. We didn't really react to anything or have any commentary on the outro, so I decided to edit it out for pacing reasons.
I screwed this whole thing up and I'm sorry for that. We always strive to put out quality content, and today I laid an egg.
An example of the dreaded "learning experience". Take it to heart.
Stuff happens and at least you keep reacting that's al that really matters. Having fun should be what it's all about, if you have fun we have fun.
Something that might help in the future: you can hit the space bar to pause a video, hitting the left arrow key will take you about 5 seconds back and the right will take you forward. :)

Layne arranged Oogie Boogie's Song, and he likes to push Geoff to test his limits. In this one, the original plan was for Geoff to come back up for the final note, but Layne asked him to take the note down instead, and Geoff responded with the E1 subharmonic that has become VoicePlay's trademark for this song.
To give an example of the attention to detail that Geoff (and VoicePlay too!) give to their videos, the "hero pumpkin" on the piano that Geoff picks up is there because it's stem is shaped like the hill that is shown in many of the publicity stills from the movie, that Jack (and eventually Jack and Sally) walk up several times.
Hi Guys! This was so much fun! Layne was representing Zero, the ghost dog - the other three (J, Eli and Earl) are Lock, Shock and Barrel...Santa was played by Geoff's brother-in-law, although Eli provided the voice..! In the second one, a large part of the props came from Geoff and Kathy's yard! (PattyCake provided the rest, like the piano, pillars and gravestones!) Rick Underwood did another amazing job with the makeup - he does most of the makeup/prosthetics work for VP also. Geoff commented it took him 2 days to get all the black off - but his neighbours are now used to him returning from shoots looking 'unusual'..!! If you watched the 'outro' - which you always should, there a BTS snippet showing him being made up, before that there is the final shot when the Patreon names run...

Geoff is Oogie Boogie, and Layne is Zero...Jack's dog
Oogie Boogie is Geoff, Layne is the ghost dog Zero, and the others are the kids Lock, Shock, and Barrel. Sandy Claws is Geoffs' brother-in-law. Geoff is Jack in Jack's LAMENT.
Such great Halloween songs! Just a heads up, always let Geoff and Voiceplay's videos run to the Patreon credits. Sometimes they add in some extra scenes or Behind the Scenes content. ✌️❤️🎃

With Geoff you should play to the very end. He now says a thank you speech and does a rolling Patreon credits. Sometimes too a little behind the scenes.
Geoff has a naturally low voice. Subharmonics is his favorite for going deep/low.
Unsure why you'd choose to omit a portion of the second video. There were some good moments in the omitted segment that we would have appreciated seeing you react to.

Geoff's costume is a compromise. Canonically, Oogie Boogie is literally a burlap sack full of bugs; his facial features are just tears in the sack. That wasn't practical to do with make-up, so his face make-up is Jack Skellington instead.
Layne is Zero, Jack's dog. Eli, of course, is Lock, and J-None is Barrel. I'm not quite sure which character Earl's costume is intended to be, but it's clearly in keeping with the Halloween theme. For better Nightmare Before Christmas costumes, see their cover of Kidnap the Sandy Claws.

The YT-algorithm was so nice, to let me find your channel by your latest Voiceplay/Geoff reaction. And for sure, I will watch all your older ones for Geoff and Voiceplay in the next hours. Your concept with doing more than one reaction at once is cool, even it makes it harder to find specific pieces of artists in your playlist. I appreciate your eye for details, e.g. very view have recognized the worms falling out of Oogie Boogie's mouth!
Also that you stop the video before talking and that you go back a little bit before going on watching it and that you are wearing proper headphones I appreciate quite a lot.
Just one thing buffles me: Why are you not looking up the description of the video you are reacting to? It will give you such a huge amount of precious information, which could make your reaction even better. For example it went a common fun, that reactors are trying to guess, if it's a Layne- or Geoff arrangement. ;-) Also very sad, that you cut off the rest of the videos, very often there are interesting things to come, which can answer some of your questions. Or are the questions just fishing for comments? I will comment more often, when I have the feeling, that the content creator shows respect for the amount of time, the creator and patrons are giving into all around.
Anyway, I am happy that you found back to these humble guys.

Oogie Boogie and Jack Skellington are two different characters from the movie. Geoff is NOT Jack in the first song you reacted to (he's the Oogie Boogie man); Geoff is Jack in the second song though.
