Do you know what it means when I turn on the car and the alternator state shows solid green on good but also flashes red fault at the same time?
Sounds like battery is charging but isn't good so it isn't holding a charge.
@MODS FOREVER so it's the battery? It does it on both my cars. Alternator light shows good but faulty flashing at the same time. The green is solid meaning good but with the red faulty flashing. Could it be my tester is bad? Or is it my charging system?
I think it wouldn't start with remote start because the hood is open. It's a safety feature.

what if the the fault light is blinking and the good lights on and full lights on and ok lights on? whats the meaning of this indicator?
How accurate are them? I bought one yesterday and reads alternator is good, but my alternator light still on after I reset it, I took it to Oreilleys and their meter said low voltage. I bit confuse.
I hope this reaches you, this video is old but I just bought one and it’s showed my battery level but when I turned the car on the info for the alternator did say good or bad it didn’t light up at all.
What does that mean?
When I tested mine the green light comes on for good alternator but the red fault light flashes at the same time

Will it go back to medium again when the car sits for awhile. Still telling me the battery is not that good.

I did test with engine on lights off and ac off everything good
...but when ac on and lights on with engine on ...alternator light flashes then goes off
What does this mean bad alternator??
Its weird coz battery was low but full after 20 mins would than mot mean alternator working
..im confused any ideas

I check my battery the battery is full but the alternator has a green blanking light what does that mean
means the alternator isnt charging the battery means it needs replaceing.
@@fabolousg4ever it foes not need replacing some times these sheep gadget dont work ok I had same got checked in garage alternator was fine gadget was wrong do not buy this crap
U can turn the car on and unhook the positive cable from the batteries if it cuts off it's a bad alternator if it stays on then the battery is no good

When i use this tester in my car. Alternator showed me Good(Green light) and Red light on and off again on and off. What is meaning of that?

Save ur money.i got one alternator green light flashing this guy saying altonator need changing .dont I took mine to garage after I use this gadget and garage said gadget cheep crap altonator fine.good way to check altonator is wen enging running take of negative lead.and if engine stalls or goes of that is good sign altonator bad
