They are great front ends. I have the same model. I managed to pull too much current on it, and blew the little fuses on the PCB. There are two, just between the the terminals. VERY small SMD fuses: a REAL PITA to remove, and replace.

At first glance, the software and functionality needed to charge, maintain, repair, diagnoise batteries isn't there. Also, manipulating solar power, or distributing charge to multiple batteries. Similar non nosensical education exists, learn a redundant craft from raw materials, to finish, and then the buisness of selling. All part of a degree. Another prime example of a waste of computing.
