Phenomenal for the money. Here in the UK we get hammered with tax and shipping which is a shame but if they did the 36mm for that price I would bite! Ashford have some amazing deals.
Great video. I have the black and red combat sub gmt and it is a hidden gem compared to my Seiko GMT which is only 100m water resistant. It made me go back and purchase the Airman GMT. Great value for a LOT of watch.
They are a nice unit. I have the GL0275 at 46mm (8.25" wrist) which is a 300m diver and the lovely detail and slimness are nice attributes. The ratcheting mechanical feel of the crown is one of the most satisfying things about it. I like the bezel colour of yours, especially in the outdoor shots.
Thanks for this review - I have a 17cm wrist also, which is flat like yours, and I was worried the 42 would be huge but it looks perfect actually, so I might try it! I love that this line also has a GMT version!
My pal Travis and trapvision 3D loves this watch as well, and would agree it is incredible value for dollar spent, looking forward to your full review/take on it
Agreed they are amazing for the price. I got carried away 2 years ago and have three. GL0076 (grey), GL0077 (blue) and full black out (GL0079, i think). They fit my approx 7 in wrist fine due to thinness and curved lugs but I think I'd love the newer 39 version for the smaller dial face. I also would prefer more taper on the bracelet but as you said the bracelet is really good.
It's actually invicta that gave them a big financial spring, we hate that they bought Glycine but we can thank them for getting Glycines at such a low price than usual and normal.
@@WATCHingJames Me as well, i'm blown away by the quality, it looks like a $2000 timepiece, i own the GL0338, which is the combat sub 36mm. Glycine has only bought them, they are still manufactured and worked on in Switzerland.
I have the combat chronograph, fantastic watch. I got it from Ashfords as well $200 usd. I did have some drama with the delivery though. The watch went missing for a while and only reappeared when I put an inside contact at the courier company on the case. I have to say Ashfords printing “Swiss watch” all over the packaging was probably a dumb idea. 🤨
For the quartz version its like about two hundred and fifty quid but if you want the auto then its over double, but still for the price your getting a swiss made watch.
I have the 46mm one and love it. It is one of my most worn watches in my collection. I got it for less than $300 USD a few years ago and you can't beat it for that money. Glycine make some great watches for the money. I have three in my collection.
Hello. Can you be more specific. I’m always trying to improve my channel. I just listened to it on my bose headphones and it sounds great. I’ve just upgraded all my sound recording equipment and I’m happy with the sound.
This may be the best watch for the cost I have ever experienced
Phenomenal for the money. Here in the UK we get hammered with tax and shipping which is a shame but if they did the 36mm for that price I would bite! Ashford have some amazing deals.
I’ve been looking at the 39mm as well. But it does not appear to be available at these prices. Which is disappointing.
2:57 yeah, my Combat Sub 39 gilt is 30 atmos yet is only 11.2mm thick. Fantastic little watch
It really stands out how slim it is.
I have a 300 M Glycine Combat Sub Two Tone….& 36 mm. I have a small wrist so with a Sellita SW200-1 motor that runs
There is a 36mm version….. I think I’ll have to do some research on these before doing the review.
Thanks for WATCHing

I continue to be impressed by it. I’m trying to find the smaller version to buy for myself.
But they are not as budget friendly as this one.
The thickness comparison with that Orient Star is amazing!
It really stands out. It is so thin

I really like that there are so many variations of it and the quality at this price is amazing.
What a great watch at a great price. I'm going to look them up now. I really like the looks of the watch you present, and I can't wait to see others.
They are definitely worth considering. Amazing quality and particularly cheap. Especially considering what you get for the money
@@WATCHingJames agreed!

It is the best watch for this price I have come across. Absolutely outstanding.
My pal Travis and trapvision 3D loves this watch as well, and would agree it is incredible value for dollar spent, looking forward to your full review/take on it
I think it is the best watch for the price I’ve experienced.
Slam dunk! Love the brown bezel insert on this one, too. The thinness and case shape really is attractive!
I am really impressed by this watch. Especially when it is sooooo affordable
I think this watch is on almost everyone’s list of affordable quality Divers. Looking forward to the full review.
I can now see why.

I would love to get one of the 39s. But I don’t think they can be found in this price range.
I’ve been looking.
@WATCHingJames I'm sure you'll let us know if you find one, but it might be a while. I wore my grey dial version this morning because of your video.
It's actually invicta that gave them a big financial spring, we hate that they bought Glycine but we can thank them for getting Glycines at such a low price than usual and normal.
All I can say is that the Glycines I’ve experienced have been amazing

Hmmm. Glad it eventually arrived.
But what a bargain. Well done.
I have the Glycine combat sub glo421. So awesome. What a fantastic deal. The specs are unbelievable and I paid $321.
They really are great watches and at that price it is incredible
Lovely watches. I have to go 46mm or 48mm for my big wrists.
You can also pick up Airman ones at reasonable prices.
The airman’s also look great. Sounds like you have the perfect wrist for some pilot watches
This watch cant be beat for the price! A plus 1000 buck watch before the Invicta purchase. A true value.
It is very impressive for the price. Better than any other watch I’ve experienced under $1000
For the quartz version its like about two hundred and fifty quid but if you want the auto then its over double, but still for the price your getting a swiss made watch.
Both are incredible value
I love the low profile
They are very nice

I think you are right. I can’t think of another watch that gives you so much for the money and is a great watch that you actually want to wear.
Just so everyone knows it's not an eta movement hasn't been since Invicta bought them. Sallita sw 200 -1 is the movement they have been using .
Thanks for WATCHing
They use to sell these at Costco
There are some bargains available at Costco sometime.
How come this one has the numerals lumed and the blue one doesn't?
There seems to be a lot of different variations of this one.
2:34 Are there scratches on 11 o'clock?
Looks it doesn't it. Hard to do if it's sapphire.
Just smudged. I should have cleaned it better
Just smudge marks. They were not obvious to the naked eye but very obvious on camera.
The prices of Glycine has truly increased
Thanks for WATCHing
is there a smaller size?
Yes there is. On the glycine website there are 40mm versions.
Looking at them they look even better than the one I borrowed.
Check out the GL0399
They now contain Sellita Movements!
It has been such an impressive watch.
@@WATCHingJames Even with Sellita Movements They are fantastic!
colour look good
Thanks for WATCHing
Those hands though. Make me feel like they are made of paper gonna fall off other than that though yeah it looks good bang for buck
It is a great watch and incredible value if you get it at the right price
👍
👍
The best watch value are Casio’s. Period! If they say Imvicta’s…ahem, I mean Glycine, they do not know what they are talking about!
Thanks for WATCHing
Yes love Glycine have a few … did not want the secret to come out..🤣but it is too late now
Hahahaha. Sorry. But we all now need to share in these amazing value watches.
I want to watch this but I can't, the acoustics are horrible, sorry pal just letting you know

No problems at all. I’m more than happy to have things pointed out. That way I can try to continue to improve.
