There is something exceptionally good about Cherry MX Browns. If you ignore the price, it's actually one of the best starter switches a user can wish. 1. It is a tactile switch, that has almost no bump, making you realize that either you need more or less to transition to linear. 2. It has a pre-travel until the little bump that makes you question whether if you liked it or prefer instant bump. 3. The spring resistance is about average and gives you a good idea where you want to go. 4. The unlubed switch has a terrible ping on release and forces you to learn lubing to find some redeeming qualities because you paid already that much. After that you just notice the mushy sound but know already what your next switch should be. Made me buy Boba U4Ts and I am super happy now.

Shoobs, you have to try Gateron brown cap v2. I think you would love them a lot. They feel like cherry browns but a lot smoother and factory-lubed.
