Temple, chai tea, lots of walking, a little bit of sweat, and delicious food. Sounds like an amazing but exhausting day! I bet you had to catch up on sleep when you got home.
Thank you! It was an action packed trip and I ended up getting sick when I came home I think due to lack of sleep. But fortunately I was fine while in India :)
@BADDAS BOY Lol, people keep telling me that and yet I still don't stop. It's a habit, I guess, and in America Chai tea is a thing, even if it literally means I'm saying "tea tea."
It is so amazing to see you, Mr. Samuel and your friend, Mr. David adjusting so well to our Indian foods, the heat and all those friends you make when you go on your food tours and spreading so much love and joy all around! Wish you great happiness and success while you are in our country! Cheers!😊👍
I'm seriously crying laughing at the beginning of this video! 🤣 The trek up Parvati Hill looks really strenuous but it looks like it was worth it to get that awesome view and see those gorgeous temples! It looks so beautiful there. The Tandoori chai looks and sounds outstanding and the sweets look amazing, too!
Hahaha...thanks Brandon! That was a bit surreal with the whip cracking that close to us ;) It was well worth it for the views and it was incredible to try some unique sweets and chai afterwards.
@@samuelandaudrey You're welcome, man! I totally agree with what you said about the chai's preparation being like an artform. I thought the same thing while I was watching. :)
hey Samuel bro... pune's climate is so soothing than other cities of India... it was hot due to October heat , a month of heat but from November to February Pune's weather is just awesome .. sometimes temperature drops to 5-degree cel.
Awesome stuff there, Samo - you on a spree without your Sheila...:-).....Always difficult (after like five solid years or so) to adjust to it not just being "the three of us", but this guy, who seems to be a nice fella, despite his ink pile, and that Yank back in Japan, who also tuned out to be cool....man, and those tuk-tuk rides in India, almost worse'n been on a zip-liner.....probably on par with heading the Pamplona bull pack or something - I had some crazy rides myself back in the day - always memorable for a variety of reasons - stuff like that is just priceless - a lifetime of joy, just remembering.....good ole India...:-)
So you've been in India for a while now. Just wondered if it's possible to get food at restaurants/vendors and they'll omit the chilli/hot aspect of the dish. I can handle chilli's in my mouth but my stomach doesn't fare well. I'll leave you with this, molten lava...
You can ask them for no spice or less spice otherwise get some sweat with it it will neutralize its effect. If u follow right order of eating then I think u will not face difficulty
Pune is not really known for a sweet tooth. Even in festivals like Diwali, the typical Pune'ite will offer salty treats rather than sweets as they do in North India. Parvati is definitely worth the climb. Why the heck are all ancient temples built on top of hills ? It's like if you want to pray to Gods, you gotta prove you really mean it and willing to go through a grueling climb to reach the gods.
For some reason the subtitles are turned on, just when I watch your videos. Is it something in your settings that turns it on? I can turn it of but by the blink of an eye it turnes itself on agaun. I really would like to watch it without because the black bar of the subtitles hides all the goodies.
That is strange! Can you try clicking on the CC button near the bottom of the video. Another suggestion would be to change broswers and use Chrome or Mozilla or Explorer, Safari, etc and see if that helps.

Well I think Chai tea means Indian tea according to them
You and David together are so much fun 😄 Those sweets looked delicious. The pistachio one seemed like Arabian sweets too. And the chai was so good!
Thanks Bruno! We just loved getting to try all of those sweets...haha We're going to get fat in India!

indian sweets/desserts are too sweet for me, even tho they're super amazing in flavor..
They are very very sweet! I can understand where you are coming from.
India is too big and too diverse. You can't put it in one box
Well that's because we don't have dessert or sweets with every meal it's just occasional

Basically, yeah.
But stray cows are usually found in Rural areas but since no one is stopping those street animals to migrate to urban areas.
