My current 5th gen 4Runner (and I think all 4Runners) have rear glass that rolls down with a button on the center console and by putting the key in the tailgate and turning it (left down, right up). It's awesome, and I often roll the rear glass down to give my pups some fresh air or just whenever it's a beautiful 70ish degrees outside and I can. I've even rolled it down on the freeway at 75mph and I could barely even perceive any difference in sound. it's just really cool. The tech exists, it's been around on 4Runners since Napoleon.
