Hey guys, great video and awesome drone footage! We've got a trip planned but we had to bump it for a minute. Andie's aunt recently moved there and it's an easy drive for us, so fortunately we can resched' on short notice pretty easily. The prohibition museum looks super cool, and I'm cracking up over the "chem trails" bit at the end. 😁 Cheers, you two!
This was our second time in Savannah and we loved it both time. Had no idea it was as haunted as it was, but the museums there are definitely different. Check out a few of the SCAD exhibits and the JW Marriott Geode exhibit while you're there and let us know what you think!
@@TheDetourDuo You have likely had it before. Crown Royal would be the most famous Canadian Whisky but the Seagrams family actually did get very wealthy from the prohibition.
Thanks sooooooo much y’all ! We will be there this weekend! It’s one of our favorite places to visit here on the South East and it’s been about 5 years since we’ve been back. We love seeing different people come through and show love to all. We will be driving from Orlando area! We can’t wait! Thanks again for sharing !!! 🔥🙌😎
Have fun! Let us know if this helped. Definitely go to a bunch of places by plant riverside district as, if I not mistaken , it wasn’t there 5 years ago. Going to feel like a whole new experience!
I've always heard about Savannah but never had a a proper look a it! I'd definitely be checking out those speak easys! I loved the slide in that bar too 🤣 I love the quality of the intro too! new friend here to support your channel! ✌🏻
Hi and welcome! thank you for the kind words. Been working out what works well for our intros. This seems to be the most attention grabbing thus far. Idk if you can tell from how I acted in the video, but I really love electric moon!
right! and we mostly stayed in the downtown area. Didn't realize how close the city was to South Carolina. It's no wonder folks always compare Savannah with Charleston
Wow.. I can’t believe how much prohibition cost the government 😮 that speakeasy experience was super cool! I’m with Tony on the Spanish moss, I love seeing it draped all over the trees. I heard Savannah had some haunted history! It’s really intriguing 🧐
@@TheDetourDuo I meant in general but if you have an favorite in the Savannah area and you don’t mind sharing both that’d be fun to hear as well, thank you.
Well in Savannah, if I haven't made it clear enough, I love the plant riverside district lol. In general I'd say favorite stops have been Charlotte, Tampa/st Pete, the Albuquerque balloon fiesta and Philly. I'd also add Crabtree falls because climbing up and hanging out on the edge of Humpback rocks was a big step over getting over a fear of heights. Really looking forward to making more trips out west and international to broaden the list.
Great Video well done love the editing right to the point, not to rain on anyones parade I've lived here for 7 years and crime has been out of control and the tourists areas are not exempt from the crime. like all city's , so when the sun goes down be aware of your surroundings ,don't venture on the outskirts of the tourist areas at dark if you do you will find out why. ps if you call 911 don't be surprised that it takes a long time for the 911 operator to pick up or not . speaking from experience and Facts.
Show of hands 🖐 How many people knew how much prohibition cost the government?
