Very nice layout. I grew up with the Lehigh Valley in Ithaca NY. I used to watch one RS3 hauling hopper cars to drop off coal for the Cornell University Heating Plant. Your layout brought back many happy memories.
That was something - great flora and fast trains. I hate it when someone runs the trains at a crawl all the way around a massive layout. Unless the track is bad, real trains run at variable speeds. Lehigh had a nice burgany paint scheme.
@@ronpapiercavich8415 And honestly I commented while thinking I was looking at an excellent HO scale layout. It was afterward that I realized it was N-Scale. AMAZING!
Great layout and beautiful weathering on the rolling stock -- it really looks real. The only thing missing from the rolling stock, as far as making it look "real", is the lack of graffiti... LOL. I don't like to see the graffiti, but I see it a bit here in western Washington.
The Valley is still my favorite RR. Born and raised near Allentown and spent many an hour in Packerton yard including riding on a yard job on loco #239.
Great layout. I feel like I was at these same locations as a child. Brings back memories. Superb modeling. Looking forward to more. Have any "pups" to run?
Thank you! I do have some L.V. pups, but I feel the factory paint has to be redone. It looks too purple for a realistic match of the prototype. I will eventually custom repaint some.

Fabulous layout and trains. Great scenery and weathering. Well done
Thank you!
Wonderful layout I especially liked the weathering 0n the freight cars. Mountain railroading at its best.
Thank you!
Very well done , excellent,
Thanks!!!

Nice video. Your work is awesome thanks for sharing David @LCRR
Thank you!!
One of the best layouts out there honoring the late great Valley! Simply awe inspiring! Great job Ron!
Thank you!
Absolutely the best Lehigh Valley layout I have seen to date! Thanks for including a complete train too! Good motivation to get back to my layout.
Thank you! Glad to hear got some inspiration from the scenes.

Thank you!! Fortunately my modeling era is pre graffiti. I model between 1968 to April 1976.
@@ronpapiercavich8415 That's good, because I don't like graffiti on trains, it takes away from the simple beauty of the rolling stock.
This truly is a wonderful Model Railroad. Great filming & editing. Well done Ron! Exceptional quality, rare here on YT ! Cheers, Filip
Thanks!!

Excellent modeling. I never saw the real LV, but feel I am viewing a very good representation of it with this video.

May have been 10 years to late to see the lv in person, but your layout makes up for it. Take care!
Thanks!!
