+iRuShxLucK Basically, it seems to be run by people who were negated on Wikipedia, or who rejected Wikipedia, because they had opinions that differed from the objective information. Obviously they weren't going to win a discussion in the talk page of the articles, so they created their own lazy version of Wikipedia. I think of it as a tree house for idiots. They want to feel as if they're above everyone else. They want it to look appealing to outsiders, but they don't want outsiders coming in and messing around. And it has a sign that, instead of "No girls allowed", says "No facts allowed". Well, also maybe "No girls allowed", since we know the bible says women aren't allowed to teach men.
+Singularity You know why. It´s not meant for people who search for new information - it´s meant for people who want to re-read all the BS they have in mind anyway.
+jag10 First of all: You don´t name arguments but theories or at least opinions. If you want to back them up, then you have to argue = use arguments. Second: That conservatives have a few points that are true facts (the sky is blue, water is wet) doesn´t make the other random BS correct.
I've asked Christians to explain to me how, in the New Testament, Paul instructs women to keep silent and never teach or instruct a man, but in the Old Testament, upon which the New Testament is allegedly built, there's this "Prophetess" named Deborah who judged the entire nation of Israel and advised a general in battle. Hmmmm. But there are no biblical contradictions.
Actually, in the New Testament it says that your sons AND DAUGHTERS shall prophesy. Someone can't prophesy if they're told to keep silent in the churches. Not to mention that earlier in the same book, it specifically says that women are supposed to prophesy in I Corinthians 11:5. Earlier in the chapter, Paul mentions that women are allowed to prophesy so the commandment of requiring women to be silent isn't absolute.
@@michaelmarini94 well I am spitting in the wind of time here... 3 years from OP and 1 year from your post... But here goes... The passage that people quote regarding "Paul's Bias Against Women" is taken from Corinthians... Simply put, Corinth was the center for the Female Worship of Diana and the priestesses and worshipers at the shrine were being drawn to the Christian "house church" by Paul's messages... Their influence was growing from their reinterpretation of the message Paul had brought. He wanted to nip that in the bud... Corinthians was his response... It was meant for the people of Corinth, and not the general world church. But because of the Catholic Church and the Emperor who called the 325 AD synod of Bishops that settled the Canon for the New Testaments books, Christianity became anti Woman, and Corinthians was the main source for that. Jesus would not have recognized the religion he started, then or today... which is why I am a Jeffersonian Jesus believer... It matters NOT that god, Jesus or Paul existed, what matters is the philosophy that arose out of that time...
Catholicism isn't just religion. It is culture, tradition, and an identity. The Roman Catholic Church and the Orthodox churches have great churches with great architecture. The Latin traditional mass is very aesthetic. Popes through the centuries have written great encyclicals. Traditional Catholicism is better than modern Catholicism though.
Not joking, this is the first paragraph on the Conservapedia article of the Bible: "The Bible is the most logical, insightful and influential collection of books and letters ever written. It includes the most beautiful book ever written, the Gospel of Luke, the most profound book ever written, the Gospel of John, and the most intellectual letter ever written, the Epistle to the Hebrews. Biblical scientific foreknowledge has anticipated or guided nearly every great human achievement." Facts.
I do so love Conservapedia. They're Young Earth Creationists, too, so there are articles attempting to refute the scientific theories of relativity and evolution; in addition to most of modern cosmology.
50 bucks says that ShockOfGod wrote that article. Challenging atheists to prove their position to be correct whilst ignoring the lack of logic in that line of thinking and then challenging atheists to debate is usually his trademark style.
+Demogorgon47 The constant question he asks is basically asking for proof atheism is "accurate, correct, true, etc." He apparently doesn't remember that nobody can answer malformed questions.
As an atheist, he made me a little more understanding than before. Not that I was constantly bashing religion every chance I got, but he made me understand the reason why some people do have spirituality.
Kyle, I'm a progressive, social-justice, liberal Christian, and I love listening to you. Your arguments make far more sense than what I used to hear in conservative churches. Holding religious beliefs need not conflict with being rational when keeping the distinction you make between faith and knowledge. I appreciate your humility as you describe your agnosticism regarding the existence of God. I find you far easier to love than people who hold religious beliefs fanatically.
"Holding religious beliefs need not conflict with being rational when keeping the distinction you make between faith and knowledge." Well you are right, but religions do often conflict with a persons rationality. If you base your morality on what a perfect God has to say, or what you think he says, you first need to prove his existence and perfect nature. If you cannot prove his existence and perfect nature then it would be ridiculous to base your morality on something that you cannot prove exists. Tell me why is murder wrong? or is it?
In their defense (in regards to the written debate) I can understand why they would do that. I believe that debates are far stronger when done in writing, they provide each side with enough time to come up with a strong argument and they can do better fact checking... Face to face I'm terrible at debating, but online it becomes less about how fast you can come up with a response, but rather how well you can come up with a response.

+LOL Party Up (Ordained Atheist Priest) 13th cause of atheism is Christianity is always right 14th is if Christianity is wrong refer back to the 13th cause proves that talking snakes exist
They say atheist have no objective morals. They say, morals come from religion. But actually morals come from the evolutionary process. When our ancestors evolved, those who got moral values like taking care of their own people gave the group a higher probability of surviving, reproduction and having enough resources. Those individuals who hunted, recollected vegetables, took care of the ill, were brave enough to face threats to their community and used their intelligence and knowledge to solve problems that affected some or all the individuals of their community helped preserve social bounds. Humans are social animals, we cannot survive alone, we need others to interact and to do what we can't do, so our ancestors care others almost as they care of themselves as individuals. The ones who commit crimes against their own people, like stealing, kill, damage, etc. They were rejected by their people, expelled, incarcerated and sometimes executed for their crimes. The morals we have today doesn't come directly from the Bible. The Bible contradicts itself, for example, in the Old Testament, it ask for the stoning of adulterers, but in the New Testament, Jesus stop a woman of being stoned, who was accused of adultery. Even if Jesus was against violence, revenge and hate, christians very often commit all those things. He can be considered one of the first humanitarians in history, and despite his words are so popular(at least that's what christians claim), few people really follow his words. Instead, humanism only began to slowly appear 1700 years after Christ, and only after the atrocities of the 20th Century we began to make it part of our laws. But humanism, which is a part of the moral values in the west, does not come from religion, instead it comes from secularism. When we accepted church and state separation, when we admit we all have the same rights and are equal to the law, when we gave the people the right of hold freedom of speech and religion(or freedom to not have a religion), our society built a new set of moral values that are still changing today. 50 years ago, to educate your children with physical violence was considered good. It is no more.
it's also funny how you can't change of correct inaccuracies on conservapedia........yet on Wikipedia the corrections or updates are open for correction. See the similarities between Religion and Science. One can be peer reviewed the other is the absolute word and no questions are allowed to even be asked.
Conservapedia has a page named "overrated sports stars", basically listing any none conservative star as overrated. The page reads: "The lamestream media like to promote athletes based not on skill, but for liberal reasons. Here are the most overrated sports stars (none are among the Greatest Conservative Sports Stars)." Can you get any more biased than this?
Definitely one of your best videos, Kyle. I'll confess, a few of your statements went over my head, but at least I know you're give me facts. I've seen the Conservapedia several times, and I have a hard time believing it's written by adults.
The fact that the site even felt the need to justify itself by attacking skeptics indicates insecurity and perhaps a subconscious doubt about their beliefs.
Time Stamp 5:13 - The atheists I know are more moral than their "Christian" counterparts, just based on my personal experience. Communistic governments have indeed been responsible directly or indirectly for the deaths of millions of people, but this was not because they espoused an atheist world view. Also, these governments were communist in name only, and did not wish Marxist political theories to be practiced in fact. Their sole aim was to be kept in power as long as possible. Although I agree that Karl Marx had ideas that are worthy of consideration, I don't agree with his conclusions. A world without government has a power vacuum that someone is going to seek to fill. Better we have a government we can, mostly, agree on.
Had a recent accident that put me in a coma for a while, when i got out the first thing i did was watch some debates and sought out new secularists to see how brain damaged i was.... I am thankful to say that it's not enough to have accidentally returned to theism, which i haven't been for 32 years but with my family I was worried since apparently according to my roommates i'm an aggressive atheist.... whatever that means. (i am also glad that i stumbled on this channel in a search for atheists and have been watching and looking forward to the posts each day since finding it)
Fans of them all... save drunken peasants and amazing atheist, but that's more personal tastes than anything else, funny enough watching everything again either was just enjoyable because i'm such a big fan of them all or because i forgot most of it (still glad that i didn't cross over to theistic thinking, though some of my family is still hoping i was that brain damaged)
Where exactly did Kyle "fact check" Conservapedia again? I watched all 21 minutes of the video and didn't hear it, so I'm wondering if someone can point it out. Maybe he saved the actual fact checking for another video?
I have a 137 IQ. I have three Liberal Arts Degrees from the University of Iowa. I am atheist. I am secularist. I am humanist. I am philanthropist. I am realist. I am nihilist. I am existentialist. I am me. I am independent. I am self-reliant. I am pliable. I am human! And sometimes I like to make a cheese dip!

I love that they have barely a few line about George Carlin, even though he was one of the biggest "critics" of religion in US history. They didnt wanna fuck with his fanbase!
I had no idea I lacked morals as an atheist. I guess the fact that many Christians I've worked with or encountered regularly being shocked I"m not a Christian because of how I treat others and my morals is a greater compliment than I thought.
" Well, most men have bound their eyes with one or another handkerchief, and attached themselves to some one of these communities of opinion. This conformity makes them not false in a few particulars, authors of a few lies, but false in all particulars. Their every truth is not quite true. Their two is not the real two, their four not the real four; so that every word they say chagrins us, and we know not where to begin to set them right." Ralph Waldo Emerson says it better than I could ever hope to be able to. There are so many inconsistencies and ill formed premises within conservapedia's 'argument' that the mere thought of constructing a response that could cover all the fallacies and outright lies and at the same time not go right over their empty heads is quite overwhelming. It's all the more frustrating because ignoring them wouldn't suffice since their nonsense affects the rest of us every waking moment in almost all aspects of daily life.
We in Europe have to thank the USA for giving us "Conservapedia" along with creation science, mad Christian evangelists, even nutty atheists! It's all so entertaining! Here in Europe atheists and religious people live alongside each other and it's never much of an issue. People just get on with their lives and talk about politics, or what was on TV last night or what the sports results were. It's all a bit boring. Please keep it up USA!

Kyle and Secular Talk has made quite a name for himself in the last year, my facebook fiends have started posting his videos!
Why can't all these beliefs just get along... I'm a Christian and you're totally in the right, Kyle.
No....he's on the left! :P
Snob Fanfiction Reader xD
True. Morality is doing what is right regardless of what you are told, whereas religion is doing what you are told regardless of what is right.
It claims you are pro abortion. Hardly anyone is pro abortion, but pro choice, huge difference. Bam, debunked them instantly.
Agreed im prochoice but i think we should make abortions as little as possible.
I can hold my breath for an amount of time between 5 seconds and 60 minutes.
2:00 A.M. Secular Talk? Yes please ;)
it's also funny how you can't change of correct inaccuracies on conservapedia........yet on Wikipedia the corrections or updates are open for correction. See the similarities between Religion and Science. One can be peer reviewed the other is the absolute word and no questions are allowed to even be asked.
You just berned them to the ground.
Conservapedia has a page named "overrated sports stars", basically listing any none conservative star as overrated. The page reads: "The lamestream media like to promote athletes based not on skill, but for liberal reasons. Here are the most overrated sports stars (none are among the Greatest Conservative Sports Stars)."
Can you get any more biased than this?
Go home, Conservapedia, you're drunk.
Jacob Darling They’re always drunk
that ending.... cheers kyle.. I applaud the Kulinski
9:28 Stalin didn't kill in the name of communism, Stalin killed in the name of Stalinism. 11:17 Irony Police arrest everyone at Conservapedia.
You argue in a refreshing and humorous way.
Keep up the good work!
Greetings from Norway!
Fucking spot on!👌 +Secular Talk
Great video! interesting choice of "end credit" clips to drive the point home. Outstanding!
Conservapedia - because facts exist to be ignored . . . 'MERICA!
1:40 kyle kulinski
4:59 morality
8:49 communism pseudoreligion vs atheism
11:07 meaninglessness
20:55 movie scenes
Bravo good sir! :D
Man, I love this video. Kyle has one of the best explanations or definitions of an Agnostic Atheist I've heard so far.
FUCK THEM UP KYLE!
You just took them to school! Great video, love the movie clips at the end too.
Fuck yes.
Why doesn't this guy hav more subs keep up the good work Kyle
Definitely one of your best videos, Kyle. I'll confess, a few of your statements went over my head, but at least I know you're give me facts. I've seen the Conservapedia several times, and I have a hard time believing it's written by adults.
The fact that the site even felt the need to justify itself by attacking skeptics indicates insecurity and perhaps a subconscious doubt about their beliefs.
KYLE DO THE DEBATE IF IT IS VIDEO!
BRAVO Kyle !! excellent work. your use of LOGIC is SuPerB.
Absolutely brillant and so true... Well done Kyle !
for videos like this, i really love you (in a platonic way)!
Lol. Billy Madison was perfect for this. "I award you no points, and may 'God' have mercy on your soul"
Kyle, you're a beast and you basically tore them a new one and i applaud you sir.
Job very well done, Kyle of Secular Talk
Where exactly did Kyle "fact check" Conservapedia again?
I watched all 21 minutes of the video and didn't hear it, so I'm wondering if someone can point it out. Maybe he saved the actual fact checking for another video?
I have a 137 IQ. I have three Liberal Arts Degrees from the University of Iowa. I am atheist. I am secularist. I am humanist. I am philanthropist. I am realist. I am nihilist. I am existentialist. I am me. I am independent. I am self-reliant. I am pliable. I am human! And sometimes I like to make a cheese dip!
Ignatius J. Reilly well according to conservapedea you are a communist mass murdering baby killing satin worshipper who do drugs and live off of welfare with Adolf hitler.
>liberal arts degree
I love that they have barely a few line about George Carlin, even though he was one of the biggest "critics" of religion in US history. They didnt wanna fuck with his fanbase!
Those clips at the end were great. You should think about adding clips like those in your videos more
I had no idea I lacked morals as an atheist.
Their two is not the real two, their four not the real four; so that every word they say chagrins us, and we know not where to begin to set them right."
Ralph Waldo Emerson says it better than I could ever hope to be able to.
Why can't conservative Christians be honest?
Because god told them to.. :P
+Jeffrey P Because then they won't be christians.
+Jeffrey P
Name me one conservative christian that is honest.
+Jeffrey P Apparently lying is okay as long as you're lying for Jesus.
+Jeffrey P Because many of them are creationists and creationism and honesty are mutually-exclusive positions.
haha this was awesome! I really hope you get to do a video debate with these fools.
Not sure where this went but I think Kyle should bring this up again now that the audience is bigger. Let's pop their bubble
Kulinski just crushed dat ass.
Please keep it up USA!
the ending was the best
Kyle you rule!
That montage at the end was fucking hilarious
This is my Favorite video Kyle. See you on twitter bro.
That ending was epic lol
