I started wheelie on my automatic 300cc atv yesterday and today i found the balance point im happy🎉😂 tomorrow i will learn to get to the balance point, then brake go down then repeat
I love that not only is this the first video I watched when looking for a how-to, but the green artic cat is what I have (2005 green artic cat 650). However, you didn't really show us "HOW TO" do it, you just did them. So after watching this, I still don't know how to ride a wheelie or even get my 4-wheeler up in the first place. Do I physically pull up on the handle bars or what?
I had a 2001 Honda Rubicon 500. It was full-time full time four-wheel drive and I never could get the front-end to come up. I wish this video was out 15 years ago.
You have to know how to use your break to teach how to do wheelies. That’s the most important part if you went over backwards on pavement like that or gravel you would be screwed
Yea we did forget to mention that on the video, however that’s not the only way to bring these quads down, it is the best way.. if you look through the comments you’ll see I talk about using the back brakes to bring you down often. Thanks for watching!!
No this is a pretty good video but I would recommend getting to the balance point and not only relying on power, I would say about a 70-80 degree and in a wheelie, at least 60 is where the balancing point should be, and making sure the 2 rear tires are inflated the same
@@vorko5.7 yea but it’s almost impossible that way, you kinda need breaks, especially with my race quad I got about 60 hp and 18 inch tires so any throttle can cause my to loop
I have a 850 sportsman, so its very heavy, i wanted to learn how to do wheelies for a while, but im too scared to try it, u tried it once and i went up for like 2 seconds and got back down, can i do it for longer?
Of course you can. But it’s just about seat time. Some quads are harder than others. Make sure you have a hitch that comes out past your tires. A back bumper helps and remember your back brakes will bring ya down!
Not necessarily, however it makes it pretty dang close. The biggest thing is to remember to practice the back brake to make it second nature. If you get up at 11-12 o’clock and you think your gonna go over hit that back brake!
@@offroadsk2763 yeah I’d seen another good video on this and he said keep practicing back brake until it’s in your muscle memory and natural, it would feel more natural for me to use my hand for back brake haha
Exactly what they said, try to find a small hill especially with a little lip and use that. I wouldn’t recommend putting your knees on the seat but your choice, give it hell.
Best way is make sure you have something that will help keep it from coming over on you throw it in low and rock it up as much as possible. Try that a few times and you’ll start to learn the machines sweet spot in power to give it juice and help it up.
You bet man, haven’t made a video in a bit because I’m in the process of moving from the group. 5 hours north of them. Hopefully soon I’ll have more trails and car content on here.
dont spook those poor cows, their life is horrible as it is, no need to add to it... respect all animals, they all have feelings and fears, and give you much much love if only you let them, and your life is much better for it, believe you me... ta
Now this was outstanding info buddy, do more like this
we clearly watched different videos
Great video. Good wheelies
Kross' tire valve caps for the win - LOL - yeeeeehaw!
Thank you. There slick

If you give it gas at a slow slow speed lean back and pull up youll start the wheelie
@@Austiekat01thanks for the info aswell
These dudes are learning ? How then they 're teaching ???

I did an unexpected wheelie coming out of a creek last week. I bout $hit my draws!!!
Good lesson
Does the mudpro and h2 shares the same parts?
I’m trying to do a wheelie right now, but it doesn’t work😂
Omg I have the 570 it’s so big just didn’t think it could do it

if we came up id love to ride with you guys. were from nova scotia.
My cfmoto 850 just spins the wheels matter how much I try to lift it up
My 700 does the same
Hey where did the Suzuki guy get that front chin guard from?
Hey! He custom made it himself, looks damn good in my opinion.
@@offroadsk2763 it does look damn good, guess I better make my own as well lmao
does it matter the size of the bike? i have a outlander 650xt
Thank You
Im starting to learn an is wheelieing better to get up in 4wheel drive on 2wheel drive
We use 2 wheel drive!
Inspiring. 👍🏻👍🏻

Stand on the back racks
If ya have a hitch or hook out past rear tires is it pretty much fool proof you won’t come back over ?

I find if it’s a sport/racing quad it’s way more natural for the foot than on utility quads lol!
7:04 learn that back brake lol
Haha exactly, but back brake doesn’t look as cool as sliding your rear bumper across the grass!
@@offroadsk2763 with control you can don't let the bike drive you. You drive the bike. Just depends how much style you can put in it
Can you wheelie a little 250cc yamaha moto 4 imo there is no chance in hell
U think I can wheelie my Yamaha kodiak 450 and how?
yes I think you could, would be a little harder. but low gear pull up and lean back after fanning the throttle and getting the suspension rocking.
@@offroadsk2763 I did that it barely goes up
Find a small hill go up it in low and while it’s rolling back crank it up hard and get on your knees on the seat be careful buddy
Exactly what they said, try to find a small hill especially with a little lip and use that. I wouldn’t recommend putting your knees on the seat but your choice, give it hell.
What gear do in need to be in to wheelie
On my baby 570 I have to use low gear all the time, the bigger quads you can get away low or high, and in a manual you’ll want a lower gear for sure!
What are the wheels on the yellow four wheeler?
can any 4 wheeler do a wheelie no matter the weight?
If you have someone that knows what they are doing you can wheelie anything. Some may need more “work” than others, but you can wheelie them all.
@@offroadsk2763 mine weights like 600 pounds so it might take sum work🥲

REAR BRAKE!!!! You could've saved the yellow quad if u tapped the brake. This video is old now so hopefully you have learned by now
Thanks ! Just went outside and busted my ass
Hey man, we give tips and tricks and we give recommendations to try and avoid it from going over and things to help the machine if it does..

Appreciate it! You too!
A safer method involves putting your feet in the back rack, hitting the gas and transferring your weight backwards.
i think you need to learn how to wheelie hint use yo back break
We do use our back breaks
How bout a Honda rancher?
We have a buddy with a Honda rancher, he’s a big guy and can muscle it up but our other buddy with one has to step on the back rack and pull it up!
Why you dont use breake
You can by all means, sometimes we do for sure should have mentioned that!!
Jesus luv u
This guy sounds like shorsey
Dude doesn’t even know how to wheelie, this is hilarious
Nice video on how to shit on you’re atv😎
Did you mean to say shit on?
You are a beginner 😂
Trying to "teach" someone how to damage their rides and injure themselves.....😆😆
Or have fun… perspective. Get a rear bumper for protection if you’d like.
Thanks for nothing this vid doesn’t even teach you how to pull it up or what to do
Exactly
