Great job from a fine back porch! Luv ya's Cowtowners!
Only one person gave this a thumbs down.... they no doubt had to be jealous. I've been fortunate enough to see Hot Club play several times... They are the BEST Western Swing Group a person could ever want. They are very kind to their fans... Elana is a beautiful woman, and Whit Smith is a gentleman... People don't get any better than that!
God, I wish I lived next door!
Best version I’ve heard. Notice how all the musicians were smiling. That was a good vibe.
First saw this group on Larry's Country Dinner..been a huge fan ever since!!😊😊
I saw Elana and his hot hot trio at Hole in the wall in 2005. Still in love. Great musicians.
How Fabulous to find this on TH-cam!! (am only 1 year behind.) I saw Cowtown in about 2000-2001 at The Continental Club in Austin, what a great night that was. I got their Dev’lish Mary CD signed by Elana (remember those?) and went on to buy several more. You guys are GREAT, love, love your music making.
❤ NOW THAT IS REAL MUSIC 🎶 BRILLIANT BAND ,RAY TWELVE STRINGS UK 🇬🇧 👏
Love this band.
I love you folks sooooo much!!!! This is wonderful, thank youuuuuuuu!!!!!
I saw you play in NYC like ten years ago, totally blew my mind.
Awesome job. Thanks
Fantastic!!
My buddy Zack, you’ve come along way my friend, congrats. Looking forward to seeing ya’ll at Harlows
Wow!
yeah!!!!!!!!!
Got to see and talk with the Hot Club of Cowtown many years ago at Elderly Instruments in Lansing MI. May have been a different bass player (sorry Zack!) but I know Whit and Elana were both very nice to chat with, and all three were great musicians. I was so impressed we bought 2 CDs that day, and I've followed them (at a distance) for all these years. Glad to see you playing and having fun!
There have been a few bass players over the years, the last was Jake Erwin, who was the bass player when I saw the band live in Manchester some years ago - I think Zack may be the fourth (i'd need to check the personnel from their old CDs), but Elana and Whit have always fronted.
What happened to Jake?
i don’t think people understand
how hard that is to do
Great bass player but what happened to Jake????
I did a search on Google and it said Jake (last name Erwin) left/retired the group in the summer of 2020 and was replaced by Zack Sapunor.
Great playing and a big smile by Elana!!
