SO appreciate that you took the time to demonstrate each medium with gel color because SUCH a difference. I could see myself finding some unique jar in my parents' time capsule basement and forever wrecking it with the matte podge! Thanks so much!

You’re lucky to have access to a time capsule basement! I come from a long line of “throw it away-ers” 😂 glad you liked the video!

Also, I thought about your paint brush box last night after I watched the video. You mentioned you didn't love the jute rope and welcomed suggestions. I thought about the jumbo 12" craft sticks and trimming the curved ends off straight and painting/distressing to match box then using the Gorilla Hot Glue for wood to attach OR even those 1" × 2" furring strips from Home Depot that they can cut to size for you? Idk...that was my after thought to contribute 😊 As for my parents home....my sister and I are very nostalgic individuals. She just sent me a photo last week of her dance class bag (I had one as well from when we were in grade school) she dug out from their house for her 7 year old daughter to use for ballet classes she just started. We can find all our memories there. It's gonna be tough one day...

Those are very good ideas! I love using those jumbo craft sticks. I need to keep some corner trim on hand as well. It’s awesome you have those memorabilia items from your childhood. How special your niece can use her mom’s dance bag! I’m glad my mom didn’t keep everything but do sometimes wish I had just a bit more items like that. Thank you for those ideas and for sharing 😊

As usual, your craft ideas are original and inspiring. I admit I have a bit of a problem keeping unique jars and boxes as well. 🙄
Now I can't wait to try tinting some of my jars in pretty colors. Can't wait to see you transform your son's room into a craft room. Thanks for sharing your creativity.
