I've just finished watching your TT:120 layout videos and was sad to see it's been a while since this last video. Hope all is well and that we get to see you finish it in the near future, it's looking great!
Welcome back Simon - yes I had a fight with the spiders when I went back in and ripped my layout up - so many of them! I should have charged rent! Good news on the re start ... I had to give mine a clean but then I had ripped up the rails so as they went back I cleaned them all but spent so much time filing ends, re placing rail joiners etc. Like yourself I normally have a break but because I went mad and re started iI have to confess to a few hours each week when the weather turned bad. Looking forward to seeing how you get on this winter. Regards Steve
Hi Simon! Great to see an update from you! I like the move into the multi-shed environment! You'll be able to work on the TT layout at your own pace now that it's found a more permanent home! Over in your N gauge shed, I was most impressed that the trains started running without any issues! Even on my small test track I need to clean the track in the sidings every couple of weeks! All the best, Ian.
I assume this news means a change of the channel name to the plural. Impressed to see the layout run first time. Hardly a week passes without some sort of gremlin appearing on my layout between visits. Another vote here for more N gauge content. PS The Park Run - a great institution - you are setting a good example as its important to get out and get the blood flowing! Regards
Hi Simon, I think it would be better to create a flat baseboard without the scenary stuck on, so that it can be stood against the wall when not in use. Just keep the buildings in a box and put them out when the layout is in use! Thanks for uploading.
Hi Simon. Just a random question. Do you know if anyone is making any British Rail DEMU’s like Class 201’s or if there’s any in development . Especially in tt120..
Glad that your layout fired up straight off Simon. I left my N Gauge layout for a year being busy on other projects and the track needed a serious cleaning and even then the locos didn't want to run. 😕 So I'd say you were fortunate. 🤞 Happy Modelling. Mon
I have changed a lot since the last time I emailed mate, have an Australian HO layout and now a Scottish O gauge layout Stay safe and best regards Andrew
Hi Simon, yes there’s too many other things to do in the summer, not much has happened here either, just getting into gear now. Looking forward to seeing further updates and it was great to see the trains run on the N Gauge! Cheers for now, John
Nice to see you back Agree that modelling is more of a dark nights hobby....a knee fracture, and time off work has helped get my layout nearly finished though!
Good to see you back Simon👍 Glad to hear you had a good summer. Quick question if you don’t mind: What size is your TT120 base board and if you could just have one layout of that size would you recommend TT120 or N gauge?
Thanks, the TT layout is on 1 6x3 foot board. There are no wrong answers but there is more n gauge rolling stock available at the moment...tricky one, I love both!
You should be so proud of your N gauge layout. It is a masterpiece. Shame you consider it almost finished, as it would be good to see what you could improve. Guess I'll have to go back over your earlier videos. I can't join your channel, I'm afraid, as my own budget requires channeling on an upcoming layout.
Hi Simon, Sorry this Q is about one of your earlier Videos on Z21, I was truly impressed and purchased one I have lost my locomotive roster twice now when the router and box loose their connection. According to Rocco it happens. Anyhow do you have any idea how to save any information loaded on the App? I use an iPad also. TIA

Great to see you back on TH-cam fit and well.
I would have kept the TT layout in the conservatory and put the wife in the drum shed. (Sometimes folks ask me why I've never been married.)

Wow look at that! ❤ looks brilliant.
Just looking through my subscriptions last night and thought that I hadn't seen a video from you for a long time. Great to see a new one.
Hi Simon, good to know you have had a decent break and good to see you back in the mood. All the best, Chris
