@@krooks6367 Yes that’s a lovely shade right?! I came across this one by chance, I was swatching the single eyeshadows in store, the pearl shade didn’t look that interesting to me, but when I swatched it I fell in love immediately!
I bought the nailpolish that is greenpurple. Fantastic color But is so thick and doesnt apply easy! Bought also the purple mascara. Wonderfull! My husband said he didnt like the nailpolish But it was so me so he got it. Purple mascara he was all in for. We discussing if i Will suit the eyeshadow and purple blush. He is god person to discusse makeup and he is supporting me when it comes Ti makeup since it makes me happy and he loves must if it. Especially lipstick.

Do you like the purple mascara? The shade looks very good, but I just know I won’t wear it a lot, that’s why I didn’t buy it.
It perhaps seems strange But We talk about all different things. And We are both interested in old fashion since We performance napoleonic times. So makeup in certain situation is a must. But he likes to make and see me happy so if i am happy with makeup he supports it and don’t say a Word about the price since its my money. And happy wife- happy life. He also notice when a make an different makeup and comments it. He has liked everything except that nailpolish. But he says its me. But not in his taste. The Sark purple mascara is good on me- both with black mascara under and as it is. I think it gives a deep on me st least. But all depends on your lashes shape color i think.
chanel seasonal releases are more for editorial look not everyday go to chanel is a fashion house and makeup collection goes with fashion, shoes, bags and so on. i find this collection exciting and will combine with standard pieces in my collection. they also target younger people and they are not classic chanel customer.i will wear all matte shades i was looking for matte eyeshadow palettes. the collection should not be judged by that fact that it doesn't one person. it is also fall collection so colours are appropriate.
I usually really enjoy their seasonal collections and - like I said in the beginning of my video - Chanel did an excellent job with their releases so far this year. And what doesn’t work for me, might work for you! So I hope you enjoy the eyeshadow quad more than I did!
Thank you for your honest. Although the Chanel Commet Collective has introduced some fun things this year, a lot of the beauty has fallen flat to me. I stayed with the Les Beiges collection this year and bought the Spring coral palette, but I don’t like this Fall/Winter collection at all. I agree with you on all your points. It looks like they were trying to do a Wicked-themed palette with a chalky death-look vibe. Not cute. The peachy brown palette is also wrong for the same reasons you stated, too light and more befitting of Spring. I hope they name a new creative beauty director again or atleast think these releases through a lot more before they launch.
Sometimes collections are just not for us, it happens, we can’t love everything! I appreciate that the brand tried something different and unusual but I’m certainly missing the ‘classic’ Chanel vibe in this collection. Let’s hope the Holiday release will be much better than this!! 🤞
I knew this quad would be a challenge for me - and I don't blame myself for stepping out of my comfort zone - but I will never buy a color story like this again. What do you think of the peachy color story? And yes, my daughters are very honest. I always tell them to stay that way, I'd like them to keep telling me when something doesn't suit me (or does haha!).

The rest of the collection didn't really do anything for me either, nor did the theme appeal to me 🤷♀ Haha, yes it's a good thing for them to do, and you know when they compliment you they really mean it 😘

Actually, I thought your eye look in the vdo is awesome, with the hint of green colour peeking through above the purple! And the lighter matte lip colour looks great on you too! I have seen some content creators with amazing looks from this eyeshadow quad, and a Red app creator who came up with 5 very interesting combos from it. But I decided not to take the plunge, because I know I can't do with an all-matte quad just like you, it will need some extra effort on my part to pair it with other shimmery eyeshadows in my collection. The crayon liners from Summer 2024 are in fact much easier to create one-and-done looks, so I'm afraid I'll wait for another Chanel quad that calls out to me a bit more. Hope you'll still be able to put Divination to good use by mixing it with your other existing eyeshadows!

I also love pairing it with the purple mascara. I agree with all your views and comments. From the last collection I picked up the green single eyeshadow but none of the shadow sticks. Why didn’t these quads release at the same time??? I was curious about this divination quad but you have de influenced me 😂 That lipstick formular is the only one I can say I hate from Chanel. All the others are great but this formular is very often patchy and very drying on the lips.

I think the shadow sticks and some of the single eyeshadows work really well with these all matte quads, I don’t understand why these weren’t released at the same time! So far I like this liquid lipstick formula. There is one other formula, also liquid (I forgot the name, sorry!) and that formula isn’t very comfortable. But this new one seems okay to me. I always use a lipbalm first by the way, before applying lipstick.
I felt the same. I use mattes as companion shadows. I also purchased this (it’s on its way) due to curiosity and to push my creativity. I do have to say even though you don’t like it I think you did a really good job and the looks you did look nice. I rarely do all mattes. Thanks for the review!
