I honestly think it would be much better to go with the headshot damage over more incarnon charge. From playing with just the lex and strum incarnons, you don't actually have to charge the meter all the way up, as long as you have charge, you can activate it (this doesn't work with melee though). I've also found that the more health something has and the more damage you deal to the target without killing them, the more incarnon charge you would gain. Also, I love using the lex, it turns into a pocket plasmor that deals insane damage.... but I don't see it talked about enough :(
Yes that's true! Multishot also builds incarnon meter that's why you sometimes see more charge being added! That 50% more headshot is very good against bosses 😎
Laetum is really good but Furis incarnon is underrated too. I have a good Riven and that gun is a Monster. Atomos with Adapter but not in incarnon form is really nice too

going to be honest here, 'easy for newer players to pick up' would be stuff like the Lex or Braton Prime. Laetum is well over 500hrs deep into the game imo (could probably get it faster, but new players won't reasonably find this until after New War which requires a Railjack and a Necramech to begin with) by comparison, and the weapon is kind of weird to build around; you don't want crit or status chance if you're using the t5a (left) upgrade from incarnon bonuses since... x20 damage multiplier is really, REALLY funny to hit, but otherwise you can do whatever and it will work. not to mention, by the time you start building for extremely optimized setups/level cap/whatever you personally consider endgame (aka whatever you enjoy most), you probably should have the starchart almost completely cleared and may be looking into SP content - including SP Circuit, which arguably makes stuff like the Lex Prime, Braton Prime, Burston Prime, etc an even more valuable investment from 475+ hrs before that point. deadass, my lex prime incarnon state does well over 1.9m on a redcrit headshot against most grineer trash mobs and is easily triple digit thousnds on the same shot against heavies; the Laetum is only as good as its competition, which are equally obscene in terms of damage potential. the fact that it's effectively not a new player's weapon also plays into why the Laetum is what it is imo; it trivializes level cap because by the point you have it, you're in the late game in terms of what warframe has to offer anyways. _That, and a random Blitz Eximus stomp can and still will put you on your back while teammates hold X to pay their respects by dousing you in getup juice well before lvl 9999._
Those pesky blitz eximus don't even know what LoS is smh.. but yeah It might take some time to get the weapon but by MR 14-15 you should be able to have it. And for a new player it's probably a good goal to set, not to mention (as you also said) that this weapon trivializes anything. Of course there are so many other option you can get along the way, for example the Furis that you literally get in the first 20h (or less) becomes a monster with the incarnon. This game has a ton of fun weapons to use and I hope we get even more incarnons that make old weapons insanely good.

I spent some time testing and It was dealing more DMG with It... Might have been how I tested It. Do you have a link to the wiki or something that talks about It? I couldn't find anything sadly

Only 125 hours in and I got all the starter incarnons, just now heading into SP too so if this can help.. I’m going to use it.

explain to me how a 60% crit chance with x4,6 multiplier is stronger than a 50% chance to proc x20 multiplier..you play this weapon the wrong way.
Because you get 1200% more damage all the time 😎 and also the 50% chance doesn't work on acolytes/archons sometimes
