All I would need is a Cullinian for daily driver. And they would legitimately have to bury me in my F40 and blue😱 I always wanted blue when I get my first Ferrari. An F40 in blue would be my entire bucket list. John’s definitely living the dream as well. Especially in Miami you can drive em on I 95. Especially at night I’ve gotten up to 140. It’s the American autobahn lolol

I have to say John is such a cool guy and you would think with the business he has and the clientele you would think someone like that is a narcissist and a jerk. Completely opposite, down to earth, smart, nice guy who seems loved by all the industry. Every-time I see him or hear about him, it’s always that! Just a good and fair guy, out there hooking people up with their dreams and saving all these exotics as much as he can.

My three favourite cars, Diablo, F1 and F50
They are incredible!
F1 Schooling - now in session: Peter Monteverdi of Monteverdi Cars from Switzerland during the 70's and 80's manufactured a couple of Monteverdi 650F1's in 1992.... with F1 dictacting the Cosworth F1 engine it has behind the cockpit. John should know this, it was at Monterkey only a couple of years ago! Carbon tub. ITB's. 850kg. 6 speed manual. Cosworth 3.5 litre V8 F1 engine and a redline of 11,000rpm. Talk about ticking boxes! In my eyes one of the most beautiful designs of the 90's from the front and side (just not so the rear.... much like the XJ220). At the time of production an asking price that was double that of an F40 coming into a supercar depression, only 3 examples were made of the 12 planned. Two were in the Swiss Monteverdi museum but from memory that shut during Covid so I'm not sure where they ended up, but having neither ever been truely driven its definitive to say they'd need a bit of work. Having bought Onyx F1 in 89 or 90, Peter Monteverdi used the Cosworth F1 engine from the 1989-90 F1 season that competed in about 10 races due to being cash strapped.
If I am ever fortunate enough to have f-you money I would love to drive this car - the specs and story of such a pure 90's F1 to road car make it a dream desire for me.
After Quail in 2021/2(?) it was sold by Moreton (MSP) out of NY and currently resides with Lee Hower. I do not know much was transacted for the sale; though I suspect John would know someone with the answer to that question.
And that concludes todays F1 road car history lesson.
Love the collection. Would love to see it one day if you'd have me next time I visit Texas (or the US for that matter), though I feel like you need an EB110SS with the highest appreciating supercar (% wise) of the past 15-20yrs. This is where my knowledge truely shines. :)

Love the new purchase and excellent video all around. Several others have used engines that were used in F1 such as the Porsche CGT and Mercedes 300SLR which used essentially identical engines as were used in F1 counterparts

Love the channel, love your collection and love John but sorry the f50 doesn't have an f1 engine! It has a 4.7 litre engine, formula one has never run engines that big. It is derived from an f1 engine but so are many others.

Didn't I hear you have to pay 850 thousand dollars every 2-4 years for an engine rebuild warranty in the AMG Project 1? And an engine out service at 30 thousand miles. It's more of a flex than an actual car. The F50 did it right 29 years ago. Newer super and hyper cars are very fragile. But I guess it doesn't matter to someone paying millions for a car. I'm so far out of the wealth loop, my opinions mean nothing. I should just be happy someone gets to experience the things I can only ever dream about.

It's not a F1 engine. John should keep it at his knowledge on Lamborghini (and loose the gum when talking). Ferrari never had a 4,7 liter F1 engine. The 4,7 liter engine in the F50 was developed from the 3.5 L V12 used in the 1990 Ferrari 641 Formula One car. So not an F1 engine. Cool car but the F40 is a much more race car derived and raw sports car.
