    Their prices for that quality aren't too bad. Might have to start grabbing a few discounted blank jerseys and start sending them off.

      They are the only ones I trust - They can handle ANY era of the NHL. Let's see what happens next game.

    Lovin' the Oilers Yamamoto 56 jersey. 👍

    EPS is the only customizer I use - They get it right ALMOST every time. It depends on who works on your jersey.... if they mess up they will fiix it, as they did when they put Adidas screen printed numbers on my 2016-17 Panthers Rbk Edge jerseys.

    I got Namestnikov on my Reverse Retro too since the jersey is based on the 98 season and his uncle, Slava Kozlov was on that team.

    I might unironically love the Canadiens' barber pole jersey. It's a thing of beauty, especially with the entire name and number kit. I actually got the barber pole sweater in the mail yesterday from the team store right before I left for work. I was tempted to wear it but realized that I probably shouldn't wear a thick sweater like that right before summer. 🤣

    Definitely an enjoyable episode for an Oilers fan, the Ty Conklin gag is solid and getting a Joakim Nygard jersey? I love that. Sidenote, not that it really matters, but the Oilers wore that alternate in their run to the conference finals 2 years ago only and have stuck with the royal and blue ever since, thank goodness its being retired. Edmonton's RR1 is pretty popular around here, but definitely needs a number kit to make it pop, it is a little boring, but it did follow the reverse retro "assignment" to a tee with a simple colour reversal. I definitely have to get around to trying EPS eventually when I have a project that warrants sending something off to the U.S!

      If you're in Canada and don't want to worry about shipping to the US, I used Keener for a number of custom orders, too. He's based on Winnipeg with a fraction of the turnaround time: keenerjerseys.com/

      @@uglythirds That sounds like a super interesting option, I don't have anything to send out at the moment but I will definitely keep those options in mind! Shipping to the United States costs an arm and a leg from Canada these days, which definitely sucks.

    I currently have 1 jersey getting done by EPS it's a Olympics jerseys. I had 2 other jersey done by them and I loved the worked on my 2014 Slovakia and 2019 Winter Classic jersey I actually a unboxing for on TH-cam.

    • @uglythirds
      @uglythirds  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Did that 2014 Slovakia have a special number kit to it? The one with the holes?

    • @WindyCityHawkey
      @WindyCityHawkey 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @uglythirds no the Slovakia jerseys kit did not have holes in the number I went with on ice specs on that jersey. Well turns out I'm getting my jersey back from EPS which I sent off in late April I just got the invoice from them today can't wait to unbox it.

      Some of these blow my mind. I saw a Blackhawks one, and it's no different than the regular jersey. I wish I could find an old listing of the whole set

    This sure is a jersey collector's "Christmas Day"! So haooy for you guys. Oh and my original Coyotes alternate jersey has Teppo Numminen's name, number and alternate A on it.

    Really great quality and some sweet jerseys, especially that OIlers RR1 and Nashville! Have you guys ever tried Sports Lettering Company in Toronto? They are the official customizers for the Leafs and if I'm not mistaken, also for the CHL. I get all my Leafs jerseys done there and got my 2014 Pens Stadium Series done there and they also do an excellent job. They may be able to do those two jerseys you weren't able to get crested.
    Either way, great video and I look forward to part 2!

      @uglythirds  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The hockey jersey subreddit has a list of official customizers dating back to the 90s, but getting that Pittsburgh done to on-ice specs is going to be tough.
      What they did for the Leafs Heritage was close enough to on-ice specs that I have no complaints, especially since it was on an Indo-Adidas. If it were a Made in Canada, I might have to consider it.

    I’ve been sending jerseys to EPS for nearly a year now ever since seeing you guys do shorts on them. Currently, I’ve got 2 at EPS right now, one more just got sent in, and another one is gonna be sent to them by the end of this week.

    • @uglythirds
      @uglythirds  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That's awesome. Turnaround time is about 4 months, but so worth the wait.

    • @illiniguy34
      @illiniguy34 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@uglythirds oh yeah, so worth it. Lately they’ve been getting my jerseys back quicker but I wouldn’t doubt that right now is their down time since we’re in Summer and the Conference Finals are going on right now. I sent in a black Blackhawks Edge 1.0 in February and got it back at the beginning of this month and my Blackhawks 2019 Winter Classic jersey was sent in at the beginning of March and I got it back a week and a half ago. That said, the Blackhawks’ RR 1.0 was the first I sent in back in August of last year and that one did take 4 months.

  • @RichardChips
    @RichardChips 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

    EPS for sure is the best to go, they can do anything just hate the turn around time.
    Luckily as a Detroit fan I can send my Red Wings and Tigers jerseys to Vintage Detroit with about two weeks turnaround.

    • @uglythirds
      @uglythirds  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That's good to know about Detroit. The hockey jersey subreddit has a list of official customizers, but I'm not certain I've seen that one.

    Off topic question but how do you all just afford to buy jerseys so frequently considering nhl jerseys are the most expensive out of the 4 major sports? Buying one new adidas authentic even on sale with a payment plan destroys me financially.

    • @Steve_Kassiotis
      @Steve_Kassiotis 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Definitely not the most expensive for authentic. MLB jerseys go for $360 and NFL are $330-$380. I don't care about basketball but those are cheaper.

    • @uglythirds
      @uglythirds  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      We are bargain hunters for sure. eBay and patience serves us well. And with Adidas blowing out their inventory, getting an Indo-authentic is easy right now.
      For example, Adidas made so many Jeff Skinner goat head thirds and didn't sell them, you can get one with an Adidas coupon right now for $60 (down from $229 in September).

    • @andrewheitmeyer9945
      @andrewheitmeyer9945 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Steve_Kassiotis the majority of normal people go for Nike game when it comes to nfl and if they want to splurge they get a Nike limited. For mlb they now buy Nike limited. All cheaper than an adidas authentic while adidas authentics aren’t even real authentics, if adidas sold that shit it would blow other sports out the water financially
