Absolutely sublime! You're an inspiration to all musicians and I cannot stop admiring your masterful playing of my favourite carol! Merry Christmas to you David! Love from the UK.
Not sure what prompted me to listen to this piece, but it is stunning all the way around. I can't believe I've missed this posting. I love the selection of stops and the wonderful variations in this arrangement. Superbly done, David!
Oh how I love to listen to David playing. His technique, his legato, his care in selecting stops, his Organ skills are the best. Thanks David Hampton VA.
Greetings Mr. Christensen! I always enjoy listening/watching your interpretations of the organ selections on the videos you are so kind to upload. I'm looking forward to additional Christmas videos in the future --- as well as your other future videos.
Thanks for all your Christmas postings. Wishing you a very Happy New Year 2013! Was looking for a wild Three Kings arrangement from you but maybe next year. LOL!
Thank you. I can give you the title and publisher of the book it is in, but you will have to take it from there. The title is "Christmas Carols for Organ" arranged by Richard Ellsasser and it is published by Harold Flammer, Inc. The number is HF-5010.
My best congratulations to such a balanced performance! I guess that the 4-part hymn played first is a well-known John Stainer's harmonization. How could I have this wonderful arrangement, and, if possible, I would love to know all the organ registration used in it. Thanks!
I must say that I respectfully disagree with your assessment. Given the fact that he cites the resource of his performance, you can look to see that it is indeed played as written. If you dislike the arrangement by Richard Ellsasser, please don't knock the performer.

Wonderfully played....just wonderful!
That’s was brilliant
An Allen Expander was added, but it was not an official factory installation. A former organist of the church did it.
Molto bello
At my church we sing this during the Epiphany service.
Wonderful as always! Is there somewhere online this arrangement could be purchased?

I love it but the second version of the song what note is it?
What’s the name of the name of the book/publication in which the Richard Ellsasser arrangement can be found for purchase?

What all did Allen do to this organ? Looks like the original Moller console so I guess they just added a few stops here and there to fill it out.
