My brother died in July 2024, he was my first best friend being 2 1/2 years older than me. So grateful that I got to spend the last 10 months of his life with him. We were able (my baby brother Danny and his wife Liz) to bring him back to the home we grew up in back into the bedroom he shared with two brothers. This song is exactly how I feel about Joe, he was very sick but I/we never felt the burden. He passed knowing that we loved him very much and always will. Joe, I love you, Debbie.

Because, this isn't one of those typical 1970's feel good songs. This song is an anthem to the world at odds with itself. I grew up crying to this song everytime I heard it. I'm 60, and it still makes me cry.
My Brother and I lost our parents when we were young, I was just old enough to keep him with me and out of the Care system! When he got married we danced to this song at his Wedding Reception. 37 years later and a lot of water under the bridge I still remember and he still "Ain't Heavy" cause he's my Brother!

I lost my kid brother to a rare form of leukemia in 1974. His funeral was one day after his 21st birthday. I still think of him 50 years later.
We just lost our brother and this song is him we miss him and now it's hard to go on but we will go on and always keep him in our hearts fore ever 😢
