If you look below his health bar he gets a defensive bonus that needs to be removed with absolute curse mod breaking part or the sniper rifle that dispels.. that buff is the reason most ppl new to hard mode get stuck on him
Executioner gets a 50% defense buff when his shield is gone, that's the green icon under his health bar, its why your turrets were doing less damage. Pretty crazy damage either way, I imagine if you had been shooting him too it would have been an even quicker clear.
I've nvr thought of using a debuff gun with jayber primarily using the turrets. May be onto something. But I wouldn't be using that calvilry gun tho. Maybe that handgun that gives buffs after reload
Nice vid. My thoughts are that Jayber needs a re-work. Other than the boss fights, this game is a horde mode action shooter. In that context, his turret mechanics are so abysmally slow and clunky that it's actually embarrassing that a game studio would be proud to put something so poorly designed out. Turrets should drop immediately. They shouldn't require being shot at by a clunky, slow gun mechanic to even provide aoe damage (oh look, the fight's gone elsewhere before I even got the thing set up). Their range is garbage considering how the bad guys can shoot you from across the map: you shouldn't have to waste a single mod slot on turret range. They should also be more tanky. Almost in every case with a decent gun you're better off just using it than wasting time setting up your goddawful turret.
Great full investment build that takes balls to pull off. This is a great build for all content. To compare we usually create mobbing or bossing setup but this works for both and can be pushed with ambush
I think your turrets would do more damage if you swapped that non-atribute specialist with dimension master. Since his multipliers are so low, he benefits more by modifiers than raw skill power, as he takes only a tiny fraction of his skill power into account.

The game refuses to give me jays skill mod. I’ve done 14 hours grinding mission monsters and about 30 plus bio labs runs and it’s not dropped. I’ve combined red mods like 9 times with no luck. And I’ve had about 15 random red mods drop that are not his in the area where his is supposed to drop. I gave up.

That orange number is the enhanced damage pulse from assault turrets not the bullets themselves. Ive been watching your jayber vids and I've been lurking without posting. I appreciate your input and attempts/Time spent on making him work. I will say the before I found your v1 and v2 videos I was using what you are now. I had crit stacked to max and it didn't feel good because I didn't have HP or DEF and I was wondering what was 1 shotting my turrets then I realized they share 80% of my life/def/shields. So I swapped to your V.2 with health and defense and honesty it feels like it's the key to jayber. Make his turrets uber tanky and then we can figure out how to sneak extra dps in...also like you I noticed the first turret you/I put down after you use your ultimate/4th ability never has the range modifier on it. So BECAUSE of this I took the range mod off and that's the slot I've been using Def in for now.
Use dimension master plus specialist for highest scaling dmg on Jayber that helped me a lot along with some mixed in crit give ur turrets solid dmg and allows for defensive modding I’m experimenting with the python rn to see if the passive can buff the dmg of Jayber attacks

@briansherlock9748 after lots and lots of changing stuff around the item that will put you over the top is the REACTOR. You need a non attribute/ dimension one with whatever yellow ultimate gun you like (I used a maxed out thundercage with 10 catalyst and it's unique ability fully upgraded) but the most important thing is to have a yellow CRIT damage and a yellow Dimension skill power. This make it hit around 300k or more. Which is insane. I'll reply later with the module selection.
I've already put like 11 into jayber trying different builds lol. I wonder though the gold mod on a weapon that reduces crit resistance of an enemy would help turrets crit more often? or at least harder, idk how that mod works yet. I haven't gotten past molten fortress either i'd love to have the peacebringer pistol for increasing non-attr damage too...
I just got Jayber. I'm looking forward to tinkering with him. As for people complaining about you using weapons....like are we not supposed to use weapons with our descendants lol. Think they gave the colossus a stealth buff against their defense or we took a stealth nerf to weapon damage. (Could be wrong) great video.

My G this build is actually messed up, u don't need all that extra Crit rate from modules when u can get it also from components. U messed up because your boosting SKILL POWER for the enhanced mode which is wrong. U need Power Modifiers not raw skill power for that. For example your crit is roughly over 100k when I'm casually hitting that without Crit rate increases. You should also understand that JAYBERS SKILL POWER is bugged so only Dimension and Non Attribute Skill power Modifier affects the skills. It's interesting, but I already tried and tested it. Along with many others...

Jaybers third ability is garbage. You should be able to activate it without having to pull out special weapon. I don’t think we should have to farm for a mod on an ability that should be done naturally for the character
Jayber has a low base crit chance of 5% so throwing all four crit mods on for minimum return just to squeeze out a few crits here and there is not god build.

@@fullspin5272 Cool build, I literally just slapped on all those mods and I even gave it a full crit on top of that, it is only a 5-7K dmg increase for the loss of SKILL COST, RANGE, and HP. I prefer to keep the skill cost and range to fit my overall playstyle of sustainbility through long winded fights
why not try the mod that does more damage while hes knocked down, maybe also try to see if putting the turrets out while hes knocked down you could snapshot the damage bonus, most skill builds run it. its gone from a tamer build vid to a PLZ BUFF JAYBER vid

There is also a bug on jayber with his turret range , even if you mod for more than 12m it will always be 12m even if it says it’s past 12m

lol yeah, you can kinda tell they only play nuke classes or followed a meta build and stayed in a narrow POV of the game XD
It could be a result of jabers 20% boost not working correctly. It's a known bug.
