You should do a video using your favourite discontinued/limited edition makeup on one side of the face with dupes you’ve come across on the other side of the face. Idk if it’s been done before but it sounds like a super unique idea.
If you feel uncomfortable using limited edition palettes in videos maybe when you use them on camera you also show similar shades from other palettes you already have. If you don't have a color then maybe find a palette online that has a similar color and suggest that.

I won't be buying Kat Von D products anymore or supporting her brand because of her recent Instagram post announcing that she does not intend to vaccinate her unborn child. Such an important influencer openly supporting such an ignorant and dangerous ideology is thoroughly irresponsible and abhorrent. Just putting the word out there to anyone else who, as a consumer, may be affected by this.
Her child not being vaccinated is also putting surrounding people at risk, so it is kind of the public's business. Nobody exists in an isolated bubble.

I bought Subculture last week, and I love it! I agree there is a little learning curve, but for me, it’s not that difficult! I don’t know if they really did make changes from the original batches, but I really enjoy mine.

I adore my subculture palette. For me, it actually made my eyeshadow skills better. Lots of trial and error but it paid off because I love the colors in subculture and I've created some beautiful, original looks with it.
Gave my ABH modern Renaissance to my younger sister. In my line of work I don’t really get to wear makeup all the time so I chose the Huda Beauty rose gold ( original ) over the ABH one just because a lot of the tones are very similar, and I really enjoy the textured shades. Also I can always make my sister give it back to me 😬!
Thank you for saying that about Viseart! I only bought the Golden Hour and the Petite Pro 1, to see if I loved the formula enough to invest in their more expensive palettes, but I didn’t feel they performed any better than other palettes that I have. So thank you for addressing that!

Kelly Saunders I have gotten rid of all my naked and too Faced palettes (except for my staple Natural Eyes and Natural matte palettes)! Since I've gotten more into makeup I've found so many brands that are better quality for the same or lower price!
Kelly Saunders I do like the Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bon. It has a nice amount of matte shades, with lovely pops of colour. It is also more cool-toned. I use the bright pink under my eyes and I get compliments on that shade.

I so loved and appreciated this video. Noting the Nars Limited palettes that Sam kept solely for the packaging made me feel sooo much better as I truly keep (and even buy a few) many palettes/compacts/etc only for the fabulous packaging. I’m particular about what I buy so it must mean a lot to me to buy it and so I keep it because I did put a lot of consideration into an item before I buy it. More often than not I choose to buy lol but some things I just love. Can’t explain it any other way than simply that I love the packaging This was a fun video tho so enjoy seeing what ppl have and keep and don’t keep!

Please do a tutorial with the Nabla Dreamy palette! I don't see many people talk about it just saw a recent hindash tutorial using it and it looked stunning. Vanitas looks amazing! Also I loved that you kept a lot of drugstore palettes, lots of declutters I see just have people keeping their expensive makeup and getting rid of everything else.
If you love the case, remove the shadows and repurpose it! I used up all of my tarte energy noir palette but loved how the case made it super easy to travel. So I pulled off the bottom tray and lined the bottom with a magnet sheet from target. Now I just buy single pans of ones I love!

that's actually a marketing tactic. it tricks the eye to think you don't have similar colors, you're more likely to buy it, the pop of color effect

I just bought the Subculture palette . I’ve heard so many mixed good and bad things about it but I’m definitely following your advice and give it a try with very light hand. I also love my melt stacks but now I’m in love with the Gemini Palette ♊️🔥🙈😍

Also I loved that you kept a lot of drugstore palettes, lots of declutters I see just have people keeping their expensive makeup and getting rid of everything else.
If you love the case, remove the shadows and repurpose it! I used up all of my tarte energy noir palette but loved how the case made it super easy to travel. So I pulled off the bottom tray and lined the bottom with a magnet sheet from target. Now I just buy single pans of ones I love!
I love Subculture too!!!! I’m really light handed anyway, so I never really had an issue with it. Can’t wait for fall to use it again 😍
