Actually that would be a good Video. issues that are common but you don't think about as a newbie. The concrete truck has just struck the wall of a neighbours house and says he's unable to fit up the road to the site. even after we measured it and he agreed he could make it up the access road... Dumper trucks it is then :(

You need to try painting with a HVLP gun. Takes a little to get used to but it is sooooo fast and makes for a much much better finish, especially in sunny areas, than a brush and roller. It just takes a little more prep work is all.

Hi Kallum. I had a load of wonky old door liners at my daughters house and I took off the architrave on one side and cut the cut nails to release the liners and cut the blockwork back a bit and then went to work with some foam and wedges. If you get a laser level on them you can bring them right back into line. If you hang the door and then wedge the liner out using the door as your guide it is really easy,

      @@Roger-Bisby1 Too true!
T&B (tea and biscuits) are what builders run on and many have come a cropper with over doing it with the plate of biscuits put out by Mrs Carruthers when doing her extension.
Has anyone else noticed how a chocolate Bourbon is remarkably similar to a Festool Domino (if it is wood stained)? Whilst a digestive snapped in half is remarkably similar to a traditional half-moon biscuit joint
If one were to draw comparisons between joinery and what's available in the world of flour-based baked food products that is.
