for anyone who is wondering this worked for me
instructions
1 determine how bad the burn-in is mine was minor
2 set your screen to full brightness
3A if yours was minor then run the video for 25 minutes
3B if yours was major then run the video for 50-60 minutes
4 inspect if it is still there run it for another 30-60 minutes
5 if none of that worked stay calm and look at your options
option 1 use a white screensaver for about 30-60 minutes
option 2 turn off your screen for 1-2 days
option 3 (LAST RESORT) get a new screen

I was waiting for a Twitch live stream to load, and on the grey loading loading screen I noticed that I had some LCD screen burning on my screen, scrolling bars, icons, etc. I found this video and let it run for about an hour. Checked if there was any screen burning and nope, all gone! Cheers for this video!
Ran this a bit and let my TV off a bit. Completely cleared up icons that had burned into the display from using it as a second monitor. Works like an absolute charm.

Ugh, THANK YOU SO MUCH. I used a TH-cam video with rain playing to help me fall asleep. I left it on for so long that my phone had the picture imprinted and burned on my screen. This video, surprisingly, helped to clear it up. Thanks.

Made the mistake of getting a LapTop with a display prone to this, this video is a life saver even 9 years later!
It sure worked quite well for me. Just got a new PC with more than 10 stuck pixels.
Initially ran it for 5 minutes, but some of the stuck pixels re-appeared.
Left it to run for 30 minutes the screen returned to normal totally and it saved the trouble of waiting for a replacement.

Had company over and they turned on my TV which was being used as monitor at the time. The frontpage from ESPN burned in but after about 20 minutes of this video it's gone! Perfect and many thanks.

Awesome. This worked perfectly for me! I had a burn in from the weather channel on my samsung lcd. My power flickered from storms and the burn in somehow happened. I didnt even know it was possible for that to happen or even be fixed. Thank you!

Saving this for later. Gonna give it a shot. Tried it out for 7 minutes and thought I was tripping. LOL! My image burn is only noticeable with colors closer to grey. It's not viewable with white or black screens and almost unnoticeable while watching a video or playing games.

Woke up this morning after crashing with Netflix still on. Unfortunately, the app I'm using only plays one episode at a time, so the screen was sitting at the Netflix menu for 3 hours. Woke up to find it burned into the screen and started panicking, as the TV does not belong to me, and I completely forgot this was a huge issue with mid-2000's TV's. Luckily, I found this video, put it on, went to the bathroom, and when I came back it had already been fixed. Thank you very much.

This vídeo really Works!!!. Someday my NU8000 Samsung LED TV shows a vertical magenta line, It has no been hitted or neither an electric shock has been received, and suddenly it shows a line of stuck pixels, I think I have to send It to guarantee but I was no necessary, playing this video the lines disappeared.

I really appreciate whichever stranger linked me to this video. Screen burn in happened when I left a Google docs page open on my iPhone XR. Most people said to send it to Apple but I did it by simply watching this video for 15 mins
tytyty after leaving my PC on by accident overnight I came back to a solid white square from youtube around the video player with larger dots in the corners. I played this for 2 hours and it made the lines blury and basically usable again. Considering it had made such a large change I decided to leave it on all night came back to it this morning and I had totally forgotten the lines were even there at all. They're so faint now that I can barely find them when I want to see them. Great fix!

I can't believe it actually worked! I had the Xbox One home screen burnt in to my tv screen (sharp 42in panel from 2007). I could barely make out the word "Christmas" In one of the boxes so I know about how long it has been going on... If your screen has an image retention issue, try this before replacing it. The worst thing that can happen is you waste almost 2hrs having red green and blue boxes fly across the screen.

I woke up today and had two entire columns of pixels side-by-side that were blue. I let this video play and went and made breakfast quick. I came back at the nine minute mark and the columns were fixed. I appreciate this video it worked like a charm. I have a 42 inch TCL television by the way.

ok i did not expect this to work, holy crap. i used this because my screen had burn in of smash bros logo since my computer turning off causes problems, but this removed it entirely. thank you.
Thank you, thank you, thank you. This worked. I had apparently spent one too many hours watching news coverage of the Atlanta snowstorm, and the logo of the news channel and the school closing bar at the bottom got burned into my Samsung led tv. I tried this for 15 mins, got frustrated that the burn was still there, stopped it, and then felt bad, so I restarted it. After an hour the logo and words were gone. After another hour, the lines around the logo box, and another hour the lines from the bar at the bottom of the screen. You saved me the cost of a new tv. Thanks!

This semi helped, it turned the stuck pixel from a orangey/red to a more subdued cyan. For anyone wondering about variation in results.
Just saved my 27 inch iMac screen. I let it run for about 25mins and all the burn lines and boxes that were appearing against grey backgrounds are now gone. Thank you so much!

My laptop colors change to blue with pink lines everywhere sometimes so I put this on for exactly 5 minutes and it's already fixed! I'll try to find the cause of this but meanwhile, thanks a lot for the video

What a lifesaver! I was so depressed thought I had burn in on a perfectly good laptop screen, I left laptop on for about 2 days with screen closed, 2 days later I opened it up in horror. Looked like dead pixels every where. Literally EVERYWHERE. I would go to say the laptop screen would've been unusable if this didn't fix it. Did a number of things until I gave this a shot and ran it on max brightness.. boom 2 hours later everything is back to normal. THUMBS UP.
my phone got a burn at the bottom while i was playing customer cast for a prolonged amount of time, 17 minutes of this fixed it completely

Actually did help get rid of the burned in image. (My case was very light I was just starting to notice that I should probably change web pages. This did change the very faint burned image into no burned image. Defiantly helped)
