Great video very informative Seathwaite Fells a slog up the front I've done it a good few times as you mention there's no path on the OS map or propper path on the ground to be honest I don't think I've been up the same way twice it's steep but if you use Wainwrights routes there's nothing technical to avoid just a steep slog...Glaramaras one of my favourite Hills (I've a recent video features these Hills in full winter condition)
Nice one well done in them conditions there a nightmare to navigate.
    ATB Andy 😊👍🏻

    Another brilliant vid, thanks.
You did well to find your way from Glaramara to Rosthwaite in that weather .
At least you got a few views at the end and some of them were superb.
Too late for you obviously but it might help someone, if you want to avoid that rocky descent off Glaramara you can retrace your steps of the summit and then head to the right as you are travelling and there is an easy grass path that takes you to the bottom of the rocky bit .
Thanks again mate, look forward to some more vids.

Nice one mate,.in regards to Glaramara I was thinking there might be a way off to the right but the mist completely threw me off, I sometimes question what the GPS says 😂 nice one for pointing that out though, weather was all over the place but in the end it was a brilliant day out, will probably return in future and take the more direct routes up to seathwaite fell and great end. Thanks for watching 🤙

Cracking hike that but gutted for you regarding the weather. Good to see you were rewarded at the end on Bessyboot but man that looked a tough day in those conditions. I have all of them to do and will be doing them when we had longer and warmer (dry) days but will split your walk up in two. I have been putting off Glaramara and Bessyboot for a couple of years to be honest as the descent looks awful but I may tag on Allen Crags, so I can go back down via the two large tarns, a longer but safer route by the look of it. Great watch and a Happy New Year to you both, cheers Alan

Thanks Alan, some great fells on that walk but probably not the best circular once they are all put together, definitely worth venturing up when you get a chance but find better routes, there was plenty of ways up from what I seen on my maps, that was the only thing about bagging the wainwright's in big walks is sometimes it makes a great mountain not feel as good as it should due to the route, thanks for watching mate and a happy new year to you too 👌👌👌

I will definitely do the route again in future and go the direct routes, Dom doesn't like taking the chance, me on the other hand I like anything with a bit of sketchyness involved 😂😂

How do you track your progress on your walks?

I download a route before I go on the outdoor active map, and as you are walking you can see where you are on the route and time remaining etc. I link all the routes in the video description to look at if you want 👍👍
