    IMPORTANT:
    This video is all about education. It's designed to give aspiring pilots and air traffic controllers a taste of real-world situations through example scenarios and helpful info. But that's not all! Current pilots and controllers can also benefit by listening to real radio communications from around the globe. This helps them stay sharp and think about how they might handle similar situations.
    To create these videos, I keep my ear to the ground on major aviation news and events. I check the dates and time zones to see if I can find recordings of the radio conversations. Then, I become a bit of a broken record myself, listening to them repeatedly to create subtitles and identify key moments. Finally, I whip up some animations (or grab them from ADS-B websites) and combine them into a neat package.

    That was a beautiful example of everyone showing the utmost professionalism. That pilot made his mayday call as if he were ordering lunch at the country club.

    This pilot is the very best example of precise radio calls I have ever heard.

    Great hear some clear dialogue. Too many controllers sound like failed auctioneers.
    Pan pan pan i thought might be more appropriate.

      737 will have both a set of red and green. Both can be on at the same time if there is a gear disagree.

    Just flew into El Paso from DFW where we had emergency due to I don't know what "asymmetrical something". I'm sorry, but i'm not a pilot or a mechanic. Just one of the plane foamers. I'm a railroader but trade and that is what we call railroad enthusiasts. So in fairness, I'm a plane foamer. Anyway, we thought it was wind but it was the plane. We had to circle, the awesome pilots trouble shot the issue then we landed with emergency vehicles waiting. I was wondering if you had that info to post here. The flight was AA1365 on 4/24/24. Thanks! The emergency vehicles happened to already in place because we were also an Honor Flight.

      Very cool. Thanks for posting the flight. It’s interesting to hear what happened from the flight deck vs sitting in the back. Those pilots were heads up and aware. I sure hope they are recognized for this. It may be minor to them, I don’t know, but we trust our lives to them and to me they don’t take it for granted and I really appreciate them - and the ATC!

    Passengers must have been alarmed 😮

    • @kimberlywoodbury1739
      @kimberlywoodbury1739 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I’m not sure why passengers would be alarmed - while not exactly common go arounds happen often enough that most people just assume the pilots needed a do-over for some reason. The only time I was alarmed was when after 2 go arounds the pilot told us the plane had a leading edge failure. We ended up at the very end of the runway with equipment speeding toward us. I think they sent a bus to take us to the terminal.
