In this video we teach you how to reset a Lutron Caseta Pico Remote. If you need to unpair your remote from you Lutron Caseta light switch or want to change which lights you are controlling with your Lutron Caseta Pico Remote you can do so by resetting thePico remote.
To reset the Lutron Caseta remote you press the off button 3 times in a row and hold down on the third press until the light comes on. Then release the button and press the off button 3 more times quickly in a row.
In the video we also teach you how to program new settings with your Lutron Caseta Pico remote so that you can control your light switch with your pico remote/
The Lutron Caseta Remote will then be reset to factory settings.

Same, no matter what I do by holding the main switch power off button my lights never flash...the switch just remains unlit no lights flash.

@@RogerDiotte not sure about your situation, but I figured out my problem. I had connected my peco to another switch thinking it would cancel out the first one, but it didn’t, peco worked both switches. I was trying to disconnect peco from second switch, but come to find out you have to disconnect peco from original switch it was linked to.

Any idea how to do it with a dimmer? I updated to the new bridge and there's one dimmer that won't go into the decoupling mode. The light bulb was burned out when I did all the other switches so it still thinks it's on the old bridge.

Never mind I used the Lutron App and it worked at adding this Pico to Gazebo lights.

Ok here's the issue..other than using a Pico I have that controls other lights and getting it reset well that works but it's the actual switch itself? The switch won't go into pairing mode if I hold the off button for 6 seconds? I hold that button for 100 seconds no difference. I release and hold it for 6 then release and retry...nothing. I've tried tons of dual button (off-on, off-dimup, off-dimdown) etc and nothing.

I have a question. I have existing pick wall dinner switch with one remote control it works very well, but I can not add second remote control on the same wall switch.
When I press the off button on wall dimmer for 6 seconds it does not go to pairing mode. It does nothing.

Clear instructions. I'm having problems with the lights flashing. I just replace my light that used the Lutron Pico Remote successfully with a Globe Electric Hudson 6 LED track bar. Following your instructions it does hold a solid light for ~3 sec then start to blink again.

Thank you! Worked for me -- the 2nd time. My dimmer is different, it's a rocker switch, but the process is the same. I used a beach towel over my head so I could see the blinking lights (wired switch is on the roof -- in a protective box) and now we're good. Did not fall off of the roof!

Does this method also work if the Pico remote is paired with other Lutron devices, such as Maestro, the hub, and the hub pro... and perhaps shades as well?
Excellent demonstration and explanation, by the way! Super helpful to explain the detail of the beginning triple-tap and hold without release instead of triple-tap and hold after release. Such a small detail that can get easily confused, especially if instructions from the manufacturer are vague!
Edit: and by "hub" I actually mean "Smart Bridge".
