Today Henry is busy spreading gypsum and JH is working on removing the rock piles but has to go to town for a meeting. But this gives him the opportunity to call in and see the new tractor!
How exactly do they transport the big tractors like it's too big for a plane and doesn't seem easy to ship on boat since I'm not sure how you could stack them.
They a driven into a ship and shipped over, then driven off at the other end. Things like seeders, spreaders etc are put in containers and built over here
Love the videos, it’s like farm porn every couple of days. It’s awesome seeing all the comments coming through, farmers are a smart bunch of people. Did you think about getting a rock crusher in to turn your rock piles into road base
No need to make a road base as we have got plenty of gravel on farm. Have though of getting a Reefinator (tractor pulled rock crusher) to go our and get ride of all the rocky ridges though! But not cheap!
You can damage the pto whilst using when driving. Change of engine revs and clutch can cause issues with the pto pump so can’t use that as the main pump. May be able to use it as the fill pump though which would be very handy.
@@tomsbrookfarm nice. I got that 600 quaddie from mannheims out of Kojonup a few months ago. Currently getting the front diff rebuilt. Might not be so cheap after all.
@@tomsbrookfarm i see youve got the same bredal as mine. Had any problems with the belt drive gearbox on the rear right? Specifically that main shaft external seal. Mines a month old and on its 3rd seal.
Wish you had a side tipper which make it easier to unload while driving on side by line up straight simply. Hopefully things goes well for ya.
Yer a side tipper would be very nice
Check the plug at the back of the ECU we had the same problem with a freightliner
Nice looking Case-IH tractor JH
True but you could go hydraulic with under drive PTO and flow control on pump
Great video JH
If you hired a stone crusher you could make road base
If you can dump the airbags on the truck when tipping off gives you better traction and doesn’t damage the airbags or valve
There you go, you learn something new every day. Didn't know about that, so thanks!
Currently watching the blog partner loves the frieghtliner truck
That new tractor looks some beast
gosh it looks dry.....did you get a discount for the now second hand repainted bonnet?
JH. What brand of work shirt do you wear? I like them. Would be interesting to see what it takes to get them to Canada
We have two and they are both very good.
Bisley
Tru workwear
Make sure you put a modem and G5Plus in that new RowTrac JH!!
Nah it’s just getting a gen4 screen. A looooot cheaper!
When our Telehandler would rev its self up it ended up being the turbo was buggered.
Have a look at a DEUTZ 2011 series engine for your fire pump as compact for the power and are air cooled, SA use them on their fire trucks for years.
Cheers, I'll give them a look!!

@@tomsbrookfarm yeah reefinators aren’t cheap, my nephew is working for a farmer/contractor flat out driving a reefinator on the York peninsula
@@tomsbrookfarm i got a contractor in late last year. Made 29ha of cropable dirt for 25g. Cheapest dirt around.
Oh by the way grew up in Perth, now live in Springfield , Missouri the Ozarks
Case 🚜👍🥇🇳🇴
Time for a kenworth mate
Why don’t you run water pump off your pro on truck

500 rowtrac?
Yer correct

Gee that’s no good at all! Front diff on a new machine sounds horrible 😬
