Van Build ~ Chevy Express Solar System Costs

Here's the breakdown on what I have in my solar system; all part of my 2021 Chevy Express 2500 campervan conversion. The prices I paid may have fluctuated up or down since I bought these components plus some sellers on Amazon will offer discount coupons. I guess if you're not a Prime member (I'm not), then you're at the mercy of catching some items at their lowest. If you've seen my earlier videos, my van came with ladder racks, a security partition & metal contractor cabinets. I removed them and sold them for $1500. That covered the entire solar system cost.

Hi Mike! Thanks! I don't like "messy" lol, so I've been taking the time to move some things, get better cable lengths and generally neaten stuff up. We've been weeks up here with below zero and temps in the teens which makes the wires pretty stiff to move around. Not to mention - me too lol - it's too damn cold to work outside. Hope you are doing well!

Well thank you! I like stuff neat and wires all over the place drive me nuts. This cold weather just makes the wires too stiff to move and plastic too brittle, so I'll get some done now and the rest will wait until warmer weather. I figured stuff pretty close, because I sold the ladder racks, security partition and cabinets for $1500 and that covered all of the solar!
