    While it's great that you showed us how fairly easy it is to do the adjustments with the fuel controllers, it would have been also great to explain what each controller does for performance of the machine.

    There are many Air Fuel Ratios to target when tuning a vehicle. Different AFR values will give different engine characteristics. It is up to the user to determine what AFR value to target based off that individuals driving style and application. There are also various AFR values you want to target for different RPM ranges. 14.1 is a relatively lean AFR value that will have good fuel economy and decent power. Watch our other video "Understanding AFR Values" for a list of AFR values to target.

    If you look carefully, the TFI one click equates to moving the ARF ratio one unit. And on the EJK a .5 adjustment is about a .5 change on the AFR scale.

    ok so with the ejk can you run to lean with the pre programed setup and how would i know if i am running to lean without a afr gauge i really need to know asap

    Unlike the DynoJet Power Commanders these units don't have any way to adjust timing which is a component of any performance tuning activity.

    These controllers both allow you to adjust the air fuel mixture to the optimum ratio (around 14.1 to 1) EJK is more advanced and easier to use and the one to go for if both are available
    eg,when you make changes to the intake engine or exhaust but also many stock vehicle are also too lean from the factory. Simply get the AF ratio right using and you will have optimum performance
