Thanks for the reaction. Taehyung performed the cover perfectly. He had that old timey jazz sound down pat, but also put his own flair into it. As for Christmas Tree, that was a fan made video that took parts of several other BTS MV and V MV clips and also Fila commercials they shot and put them together so nothing in that MV was related to Christmas Tree. Christmas Tree was an OST for the Kdrama OUR BELOVED SUMMER. His voice is just so uniquely beautiful esp in kpop. We are so looking forward to his solo album. He is gonna surprise us in amazing ways. I can’t wait 🥰🔥💪🏼

V has a very deep old soul tone. He has a very jazzy rnb style. He showcases a Very wide range too. From his high notes on Stigma to a very deep sombre tone in Singularity. He also has ALOT of unreleased, unfinished songs he would play for ARMY. If you just search Vs unreleased songs, you would be surprised and even be baffled HOW THIS ARTIST kept those song from us. (travel with me, 3 in the morning, the English version of Blue and Gray)
Unfortunately when Army asked V on weverse about his "Travel with me" song he played while he was vacationing recently in Hawaii, he said "I deleted all my old song"... I literally had a mental breakdown and was hoping he was just joking 😢...
so Please.. Even on ur off time, just try looking up his unreleased songs.. And I will be sure, you would be so amazed!!! Taehyung is an awesome song writer and lyricist. He may not be as deep as RM but he has this old soul that will easily find a way to ur heart ☺
For me, V is so under appreciated for his vocal talent.. tho I Can't blame them being hooked on his look 9f course.. it was a one-take for ARMYs. So cool that his velvet voice is captured on the phone recording.
I think all of us were blown away by his clear tone and his obvious improvement in his English. Such a fun Xmas gift of songs. Plus he let us see Yeontan his dog who is adored by the members. I liked the phone recording because it’s very informal and he doesn’t need polish.
I love V’s dulcet tones and his lovely accent. Yeontan is a male dog. We’ve seen him grow from a tiny puppy into a small adult dog. He’s a Pomeranian. Christmas Tree was the OST he sang for ‘Our Beloved Summer’ which starred his good friend Choi Woo-Shik. It’s a lovely series on Netflix if you’d like to watch it.

Yes, V is singing it, and It looks like a one take. He could definitely do it, he does have over 10 years of actual practical singing experience, and honing his vocal skills. This was just a video he did spontaneously for ARMY as a Christmas present. It wasn't an official release.
Also, the video you watched of Christmas Tree was someone that randomly put BTS music video clips and other BTS clips together and put the song audio on the video. The clip with the Tarot Card in it is the BTS Season's Greetings promotion video and has nothing to do with the song Christmas Tree. This was definitely a fan made video. Here is the actual video of Christmas tree with the lyrics. It's an OST for a K-Drama.

The tarot card was the five of cups (Roman numeral "V" on the top of the card). You should watch the official video for Christmas Tree from the Kdrama Our Beloved Summer. V did not write the song, but he sings it beautifully. The song is about the drama, not about V's life. Also, it is not a Christmas song at all even though it is called "Christmas Tree". His version of It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas is excellent also.

Thanks so much for this reaction Brian. Tae’s surprise Christmas gift to us was beautiful, gorgeously warm and like nourishment for the soul. Exactly like Tae. Yeontan is a male dog. Tan-ah mainly lived with Tae’s parents especially because of BTS’s schedule and the travelling around a lot. We see him pop up so much in various BTS content. It’s adorable.
Christmas Tree is also such beautiful song. I feel like Tae really showcases his range with this song: both his honey vocals and also his delicate falsetto. The song is an original sound track for the K-Drama ‘Our Beloved Summer’ it’s on Netflix and it stars Choi Woo-Shik who is a close friend of Tae’s and a member of the Wooga Squad (Tae’s friendship group with Korean Actors Park Seo Joon, Choi Woo Shik, Park Hyung Shik and Rapper Peakboy. Tae met Seo joon and Hyungshik when he acted in the drama Hwarang and they became great friends)
Tae is a super super loyal friend. He sings OST’s as support for his friends projects. He sang and co-produced and wrote Sweet Night for Seo-Joon’s Netflix drama Itaewon Class. (Originally it was gonna be part of his mixtape) Incidentally his X-mas gift to us in 2020 was Snow Flower featuring Peakboy and was co-produced & co-written by Tae and Peakboy.
All of them starred with Tae in the spin-off of In The Soop earlier this year. In The Soup: Friendcation. It’s available on Disney Plus.
Tae will also be starring in a spin off of a very popular k-variety show early next year with Woo Shik and Seo Joon. He recently just finished filming it in Mexico before flying back and travelling 18 hours to be there for Jin’s enlistment. He will be helping to run and work in a restaurant with other Korean actors. Can’t wait for it.

BTW Taes dog is called Yeontan and the second clip you watched was a fan made clip, not the official mv from the ost. That might explain why it didn't make sense.

Please always do official video/audio reactions. Because reacting to these fan-made video is basically supporting and benefitting illegally uploaders. Like there is a whole Music video for Christmas Tree and every other ost out there. Please always support the original content. It's because of reactors reacting to random lyric videos and fan-made videos that these illegal uploaders gain millions of views which should have gone to the original creators.

V's voice is well known inside and outside the fandom for being comforting and really helped a lot of us in times needed (as we all have songs and artists that are very important through our lives-music is so important aleays)!! Meet Kim Yoentan(tannie). V' little dog!He of course has a lot of history and the fandom know him from puppy.
The story of yeontan as cute as it is is "difficult" also (including health problems) but as Tae said(V) ."As little as Tannie is,he is a true fighter " and V is alongside fighting with him. Taehyung life was not easy too and yes,he already lost 2 very very important persons to him during BTS's "rising"!So we witnessed all his struggles.
We believe that in all his songs there are messages and references about his "angels" and he already said that he makes music for comforting.
Now why all this prologue ?
I really felt sad for your hardships!! I have similar experiences for the Ch. holidays and for many years I had "problems " celebrating. But through time I chose these days to start celebrating by reminiscing all the important memories.I celebrate the hope,love and life (that is still here or was in my life)! A great tip in such cases would be check the subscribers count, and you'll know if the channel is original one or someone impersonating. Also Unsubscribe the imposter if you have mistakenly subscribed to them instead of the real channel 😩😩

"Dude" is not right word here since this man is reacting to BTS for a quite a while and he become their very big fan. It's been a whole year since he stumbled on them while watching Juice Wrld's "Girl of my dream" and then checked Suga :) ... So "Sorry, you got wrong video which is fan made, there is a real mv" would suit you much better... If you don't know Korean it really happens to lose those few songs OSTs from dramas because they are not under HYBE or BANGTANTV.
