5.7L Hemi no it would not. you would need to go with an early model hemi cam...after 2008 or 2009 they changed the cams. You have more cam options with your year model than I did. Check out some Spartan cams on you tube. These fit the earlier hemi like yours. there are other options also but the Spartan sounds good.
What size cam is that because it doesn't sound like it's got a very high lift. I was listening to the hot rod cams that Ford sells for their 2005 Mustang GT and they sound really really good and they've got a really nice lope to them

Yes cam swap was different place than where it was tuned at. Yes it was started after the install and driven at low speed to the tuner. I would have liked a more aggressive lope like LS or Coyote cars, but that is hard to do with these Hemis. But with adding the cam and long tube headers I was very impressed with the numbers it produced on the dyno.. 501 at the crank. I know longer own the RT, I sold it and upgraded to a Hellcat. Overall, I was happy with the install and the power results.
The cutouts were a little or 400 bucks. They are expensive for the QTP but worth it. My buddy bought some cheap ones and they leaked ..One stopped working after a week. In my opinion it was better to get the name brand and it will save you some money in the long run

Your Challenger RT sounds like it's pissed off! Is your cam a 270 or 274? I have 2013 Challenger RT . Is your car an every day driver cranked up like that?
Todd Krupp thanks! It is a custom ground cam and the specifications are on the box in the video. It's not a daily driver but it could be. We just choose to keep the miles off of it.

Steve Shilt it idles between 850 and 900 RPM. That is the best idle we could get with the tune to work with the cam. The lobe separation is 113 so it won't have the chop that a cam would have with a 110 or 108. It chops more on a cold start than when it warms up. You can tell it has a cam but it don't have the chop of the bigger cams. The results are great adding over 100 HP with a cam, headers and tune.
Kristie Weston sounds really nice. I'm thinking about original 40's or maybe the super 10 and keeping my resonators. Idk what cam I want. I do know something bigger than the scat pack cam. I thought about the mopar drag pack cam would be easier to tune. Or comp cam 274. I know that one is on the crazy side.
Unfortunately the 6 will not sound that aggressive. You can get some great sound replacing your mufflers with something like a race bullet muffler from dyno max. Part # 24250. That will give you an aggressive sound .
Just getting the rest of my stuff back on the car. Got the same cam beehive springs bigger pushrods and all gaskets replaced. Dont have cut outs but bbk shorty headers and h pipe with magnaflows. Hopefully mine sounds good like yours!
@@kristieweston7867 so like go to a shop and have them change it? I wanted to see if I could get mine to chop even after the car warms up. The choppy sound of my cam goes away somewhat soon after I start it up. It sounds dope at first and then dies down.

The total cost with parts and labor was about 4,000. That was including the dyno pulls, tune and custom exhaust to fit the the cut outs.

Adam Rodriguez the cam was around 800.00. I put long tube headers , cam, phase locker and dyno tune. It put 431 hp to the rear wheels.
Kristie Weston did you need anything else to complete the cam install or just the cam? No springs or pushrods or anything?

Steve Shilt the comp274 has close to the same idle as this from what I'm told. It has a bit larger lobe separation 115 I think.

No I would have to say it's more like the 274 with a bit tighter lobe separation
