I think I’m to the point of getting fed up with even people who say, “But BLM has brought up some good arguments and pointed out things in society, etc.” At this point it just feels like excuse making. The phrase “black lives matter” was already truth (and eternally speaking…an eternal truth) ever since the civil rights movement. It’s a dream that has been growing and progressing ever since, and I feel like the race baiting of today is putting a damper on all that progress.
BLM dis nothing for anyone. I am white and live in the hood and everything is worse for my black neighbors and my white ones. White libs thought it was a good idea to put a basketball court in this hood with Breonna's likeness painted on it and make it a tribute to her. Anyone who said they didn't want it were either racist or an Uncle or Aunt Tom. The majority didn't want it as a tribute to her. We all thought Muhammed Ali would be better after all he was born in the west end of Louisville. They wouldn't listen to reason. I have a degree in Psychology but didn't need it to understand that children; especially like the ones in hoods like mine need positive inspiration and just telling kids growing up she was killed by cops is too negative when most are surrounded by negative all the time. It's nothing against Breonna. In 2020 cops killed an unarmed neighbor in this hood. I heard the shot as I do so many shootings and whites here would never want a tribute to him. The kids now already know about her and their are tributes to her everywhere in this city and I just think the same white libs deciding to put it here would never do the same with their kids. They know kids don't need to be reminded daily of negative things. The surrounding hoods have almost no white people in them so why choose the 1 urban west end hood that is known as the "white hood" even though it's not really just has more than the hoods surrounding us. It's not a gentrified area as most whites here have been here generations. My grandma was born here in 1890 and I have about 80 relatives that live here. Every thing the almost 100% black hoods have; so do we. The real reason billionaire Oprah lectured "even the poorest of poor whites are privileged" instead of the white people in her world was bc they want the poor blks and poor whites to hate each other. Of course months after this Prince Harry whined to Oprah his family cut him off financially just for quitting his royal family job leaving him only with millions his mother left him she only had empathy and compassion for him and never told him to check his privilege. Rich whites love the idea of white privilege bc they don't have to pretend to care about poor whites bc aren't we all so privileged. Rich blacks love it because they don't have to really do anything for poor blacks because aren't they all so oppressed. I have heard what people say about whites in this hood and black and whites freely call us "a different breed" and from prosecutors in case conferences when I was a CPS investigator would see the zip code and say "you know how they are in that hood. Privilege is situational and any honest person knows this is true. Pretty sure when a blk man pulled me off the street and was raping me and choking me to death when a man was coming so he ran that I wasn't so privileged in that situation. He was never caught and police wanted me to do a line-up months later and I had lost his face in my head early on as many men I saw were similar and I lost it. I said only DNA would ID him and they said I had to pick one out before they could process my rape kit. This was in 1997. I refused bc I didn't care more about justice for me than I did about causing an injustice myself. The reason they don't want to use more nuance in discussing this is bc the goal is to divide and conquer. If all poor whites woke up tomorrow and proclaimed Oprah was right we are all so privileged nothing would change bc we don't matter. Oprah couldn't even say "poor" she had to say "poorest of poor" and she isn't stupid she knows doing that does nothing except make the poor whites resent it. They certainly don't want us working together for common class issues. They killed Fred Hampton after her managed to convince the poor whites and Latin Kings together to fight for common class issues. I believe that is why they murdered him. Us actually uniting is really the only fear the elite ruling class have. I think if I say something here a black person disagrees with then we should have a conversation bc I don't claim to know everything and instead of snarky comments that are divisive and stop conversations maybe we could find we all have more in common than we do the ruling class or rich celebrities.

I never donated money to BLM, but I was in Minneapolis when George Floyd was killed, and even me (a short, harmless-looking woman, as you can see) has been falsely arrested in Minneapolis (😲🤬) so some friends and I marched in what was -- where we were -- a truly peaceful protest. We didn't want to defund the police, we wanted the Mpls police to be more like the St Paul police (St Paul is right across the river) and we wanted Chauvin charged. So that's what we were marching for, everyone in our group. It was so cool -- Black people and White people and Asian people and me (who's mixed race) all peacefully marching together. Excellent commentary, Kimi. You had me at, "BLM has been used as a moral shield for a lot of folks who don't really care about issues of social justice." We can say the same thing about MeToo. That movement became political really fast.

I agree with this. Matthew 25 really has me thinking a lot over the past few years... About what effective justice could look like. The first half of the chapter has parables about personal responsibility. The parable of the talents and The parable of the 10 virgins. But the last parable is about responsibility for your community: The parable of the sheep and the goats. So within the entire chapter there is a balance that seems to be struck between personal responsibility and responsibility for your community. This could be a corrective on the political situation today. Often conservatives advocate so much for personal responsibility liberals wonder if Conservatives believe at all and taking responsibility for where our community is at large… For the people who are struggling. Conversely, liberals appear to care so much about “being activists” conservatives often wonder if liberals believe at all in personal responsibility… Jesus challenges both sides in Matthew 25. Jesus did both. Even though I see this in the chapter doesn’t mean I know how to do it!
Thank you, that's beautifully well written! I agree, we need a balance between personal responsibility and responsibility for our community. I'll never forget when I was a teenager and lived for a while on an Army post. Our neighbors were different races, and ages, and ethnicities; but we all worked together when one of us needed some extra help. And yet, we all took responsibility for our actions. That combination of personal/community responsibility made it the best place I've ever lived.
Hard agree. Sometimes it’s too easy for both sides to become polarized on every issue. It’s not even like it’s an irrational reaction, because after seeing so much about ACAB and antifa etc., seeing a headline about a truly corrupt police officer (and there definitely are those, Chicago is seeing that right now), my immediate reaction is to turn skeptical of the reporter’s motivations and the character of the comments. With the left becoming more and more radical, some republicans make it their sworn duty to be opposites on everything.

Hopefully another group with a cause can catch on and hopefully we can get real changes to happen. Thx again Kimi.
Interesting that you brought up 2016. That's when I started to be vocal against them. After 3 years of existence I couldn't see what they were doing to improve police interaction. Some people in the UK are still on message but some are pretending they never rocked with them. I'm not sure we a quite in the post BLM era but we are on the way there.
The "moral sheild" is a very apt metaphor. I've seen footage of a white protestor yelling racial slurs at a black police officer and then holding up a blm sign when challenged about it. The police officer shrugged and said this was quite a common occurrence. See officer jackhary jacksons interview also about how he is treated on protests.
It made black people, no people in general more hostile towards police. Which doesn't help the situation. I believe black people get stereotyped often but it's the culture's fault. American black culture has given society so many good things in terms of music, comedy, fashion, language, dance etc. But there's so many negative aspects that hold us back. It's on us to change them.
November 5, 2022. The Defund the Police era is over that is for sure. I'm not sure when that stopped. A Police Chief out west resigned in 2020 due to the insanity. I think it was Seattle or Portland.
You have raised so many important, valid points in this video. I called out BLM from the start, lost ‘friends’ over it, but now they just look silly tbh 😆
To profit from the suffering of those in need. Sounds like... (insert horrible thing here). The fact that well meaning people can be led to rage and violence from the words of profiteering sociopaths... that's what I would consider most of human history. Like teenagers, we're moving into a newer state of being but STILL succumbing to less "evolved" behaviors. I hate it. I just hate it.
Why is it that only the liberal cities have major race issues? In conservative cities people of different races get along just fine, people are respected as human beings regardless of color, and there in none of the ridiculous drama?
I never supported them to begin with that organization was shady from the beginning and I am so glad I’ve never donated a penny to them btw this is coming from a BLACK female
Why do you feel you need to state your race, playing identity politics, and who says you needed to donate to them, a donation is a choice, a lot of young people may not have researched black history without BLM bring the idea of black to light, the powers be have done a good one on you, your enemy isn’t BLM, it’s the political system, it’s republicans, democrats, KKK, proud boys etc, why do blacks always support people who don’t support their interests
I hope we are in the post BLM era but another organization will be along soon. Hopefully they will have learned the lessons and will set themselves up to be honest and genuinely want to help communities and individuals who need help. What BLM showed was there is a need and there are those who will donate but that side will be harder second time around, because of BLM.
There's a house in my neighborhood (most white population) and it's had a BLM sign in the driveway for the last year. I drove by the other day & it was gone. So many times I'd thought to put a note in their mailbox saying that I hope they would look into it & see that BLM hasn't done anything for Black communities, but because of ring cameras I decided against it.
I had a neighbor just put an "anonymous" note in my mailbox. They clearly forgot about my cameras. Lol. They had a beef with me about other things, especially the kid's toys and bikes I keep on the SIDE iff my house out of sight of the street. I have 4 kids 🤷🏼♀️. They went on to say I should move, then made an off hand comment about my social justice sign (not BLM specific). So I brought out every lawn chair, kid toy and bike and piled them on my front lawn for 2 weeks and bought 15 more obnoxiously leftist signs and lined my lawn. 🤣🤣 I'm about to take them all down. I must have ODD or something. Anyway, don't put mail in anyone's mailbox that didn't go through USPS because it's technically a felony. I posted that on my mailbox and the neighbor has been sweet as pie ever since. Well both co-founders have walked away so the supporters will/should as well. I don't think there will be backlash against the organisation but they have some PR work to do to get supporters back. The whole issue was a lack of communication and too many outside influences. The BLM side had some great points to make, as did the other side. Neither really listened because emotions were heightened and confirmation bias set in. I thought some of the points made about defunding the police were great suggestions - such as reducing police funding (especially in areas where the majority of the city funding was the police force) to funnel the funds into community services/mental health services which would reduce poverty/addiction/meet specific community needs, and create positions for specialist services which would reduce police intervention, as well as introducing specialised training for police officers in how to handle certain situations better. I do hope that positive change is occurring in individual communities but I wouldn't be looking to the BLM organisation for assistance with that.

ACTIVISM IN AMERICA IS A WAY FOR USELESS PEOPLE TO FEEL IMPORTANT EVEN IF THEIR ACTIONS HAVE GRAVE CONSEQUENCES!
GEORGE ORWELL SPOKE ABOUT THIS (people that all think alike (THE PROLES )
Fantastic channel Kimi , love your self awareness and this is an intelligent conversation without people screaming and burning shit down !
Did you get around to reading Thomas Sowell or Walter E. Williams?
Funny how people finally get fed up over money rather than how other people are treated....just goes to show, money talks and if you want answers, follow the money.
Kimi.....you're always a truth speaker 🔊. I love you and your brilliant beautiful brain. You had called BLM out very early on.....I'm glad that you've been validated. It's sad what BLM did.
Love hearing your take on stuff like this. 👍
I'm really relieved to hear young people like you making sense!
The glasses are fire
Social justice is such a crock of ish.
Hi Kimi nice to see you back !! 🙏🏽💯💪🏽
November 5, 2022.
The Defund the Police era is over that is for sure.
I'm not sure when that stopped.
A Police Chief out west resigned in 2020 due to the insanity.
I think it was Seattle or Portland.
I surely hope so... the sooner the better
Speeeeeeeeeeak on it!!! Ur so right. Thx for being on Cutie Pie. Kp the vids coming xoxo
You have raised so many important, valid points in this video. I called out BLM from the start, lost ‘friends’ over it, but now they just look silly tbh 😆
I hope that you are correct in what you are saying about people no longer supporting BLM
And the Truth shall set you free!
Yup. Spot on.
Thank you, thank you!
Excellent points. 🙏
Why is it that only the liberal cities have major race issues? In conservative cities people of different races get along just fine, people are respected as human beings regardless of color, and there in none of the ridiculous drama?
Not yet allot can still go wrong, so don't let your guard down
I recommend Thomas Sowell for a direction to go.
Hey welcome back. Haven't seen you awhile now.
Unfortunately it is still widely supported in the UK
Thank you for the wisdom
I never supported them to begin with that organization was shady from the beginning and I am so glad I’ve never donated a penny to them btw this is coming from a BLACK female
Why do you feel you need to state your race, playing identity politics, and who says you needed to donate to them, a donation is a choice, a lot of young people may not have researched black history without BLM bring the idea of black to light, the powers be have done a good one on you, your enemy isn’t BLM, it’s the political system, it’s republicans, democrats, KKK, proud boys etc, why do blacks always support people who don’t support their interests
You are a true intellectual. You remind me of a childhood friend.
YOU'VE GOT A GOOD HEAD ON YOUR SHOULDERS. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!!
Just found this channel...great work.
As Jericho Green says. CBLM. Certain Black Lives Matter.
Corruption corrupts
Kimi, I’m just curious, do those statistics of police killings take into consideration the percentage of white and black total population?
Probably not.
Blacks are the third largest population group.
It would be interesting to see the Hispanic population for reference.
Thank you
Great take
Thanks for the video, keep it up, I love this channel
I hope we are in the post BLM era but another organization will be along soon. Hopefully they will have learned the lessons and will set themselves up to be honest and genuinely want to help communities and individuals who need help. What BLM showed was there is a need and there are those who will donate but that side will be harder second time around, because of BLM.
Any sane person expected to agree that the naked guy is wearing a beautiful coat of gold, will eventually go insane. Or speak out.
You are a thinker Kimi. Analysis is a good thing. I wonder where your calling is?
Excellent dissertation.
+1 sub
Finally!!!
They are frauds
Yes 🙌🏾
how can anyone not vibe with Candice?
Ted Bundy work the sucide line, candisease have the same concept of life as Ted Bundy.
@@spinrash6000 what?
There's a house in my neighborhood (most white population) and it's had a BLM sign in the driveway for the last year.
I drove by the other day & it was gone.
So many times I'd thought to put a note in their mailbox saying that I hope they would look into it & see that BLM hasn't done anything
for Black communities, but because of ring cameras I decided against it.
I did throw in some gun rights and thin blue line signs in the mix though. 🤦🏼♀️🤣🤣 I got a bee in my bonnet after that note he left. Smh
@@kricachula7546 Oh my gosh that's pretty funny.
Even though we differ politically I think I'd have a ball being your neighbor.
At some point you just have to go "okay, what the f--k are we doing?!
@@lahaza6515 🤦🏼♀️🤣🤣 I know that's right. I'm a centrist. Honestly there's no centrist signs I could find. Like, "keep your laws off my uterus AND my guns" 🤣🤣🤣
I'm definitely recovering woke, and was JUST about to remove the one yard sign I had anyway, but then I got the note and lost my marbles a little. Lmao.
There needs to be a "all lives matter" protest, protesting the BLM riots.
Do you vote? And if so, for what party?
Hi sis good show haven't see you in a while
Bottom line if you are the one calling the cops they will respond to addressing your concern. Just like the crying baby will get the teat. Kimi really articulates really well.
Philando Castile was definitely one of the very small handful of people unjustly killed by police. He led a law-abiding life as well, except for parking tickets which are nothing.
if only people wanted to know Truth. Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. "Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?
I think maybe that horrendous and racist tragedy in buffalo might have brought it back.

Look on candaces TH-cam and Twitter she posted the video of her at patriece s house that was listed as b l m
They are resting for November.
Sad that so many people were scammed by these crooks.
There are only one group of people that benefit from police defunding and that's criminals
If anyone is a homeless Black person they should go to sleep at the BLM mansion. BLM must be held accountable by the people it claims to represent.
Maths and social justice do not mix.

The right understands that direct help may not always the best.

Read 'The madness of crowds ' by Douglas Murray. This is a form of crowd hysteria. Watch 'The Crucible' by Arthur Miller.
As dark as it is to point out. I think they'll make another big push thanks to a psychopath.
well maybe they can get a revival after yesterday...
So basically we supposed to support any organisation as long as black is not in the title
POLICE R IN DECK TWENTY 4 SEVEN.. YOU TUBE FACEBOOK ETC...BOOK SENSE IS GREAT BUT COMMON SENSE GOES A LONGGGG WAY.
Could you imagine if you actually were in charge of BLM. Your passion woulda made a lot of changes for the good.
