nick, there was this british band in the 90s, kenickie, 3 girls + 1 lad, released some eps, an album. they wrote one of my fave songs ever, called PUNKA. such a gem :D maybe you'll like to listen to it one of these days. cheers!
So Gaz reminds you of both Jack White and Jack Black? Hmm, there's some weird symmetry there. I should Coco is crammed full of juicy stuff and Lenny is definitely worth checking out also. But agree with the poster below that you should try Ash.
I grew up with this album on tape... I think this album is my favourite Brit pop album ever, I think it’s consistent, unique and has a certain vibe to it... can’t tell you how high I rate this album.. She’s so loose is my favourite Lose it I love as well Mansize rooster I’d like to know Caught by the fuzz Strange ones All amazing
Mansize Rooster is a very unique Supergrass song, and not just because of the title
Yes brilliant song
That and this track are my favourites on this album
One of the best gigs I have been to was Gaz Coombes playing solo, that man has so much talent. Supergrass have so many good and different styles.
You should definitely check out more Supergrass. I'd suggest Richard III, Pumping on Your Stereo, and Moving. All great songs!!!
Try reacting to Ash, another young Britpop band who were big in the UK at the time, Girl from Mars was a big hit.
The bass on this from Mick Quinn is f#####g anthemic. Dark and heavy just like the lyrics - 'I Should Coco' absolutely iconic UK album 💪
Reminds me of being arrested as a teenager. Very good lyrics and energy

I drove past the Supergrass lead singer in Brighton, England 20 years ago, he was just sitting there staring Into space!!
lol
The first time I heard this was on trigger happy tv
You said: "Gaz Coombes is a combination of Jack Black and Neil Young" - I don't like it, not one bit, but I also can't deny it. Confliction.

Hey Fella, you must listen to The Stone Roses,' I am the resurrection' or 'good times' 🏴
Just listen the the whole of I should coco (their first album)

If you like Morrissey, u will defo like the 'Suede'. A band from Sussex, England 🏴
Try Supergrass.. The sun hits the sky!

Brilliant Band, so underrated .
The song lyrically is about Gaz Coombes being caught with marijuana and getting into trouble. Honest guv!
Very good song great vidio
Saw them live last year in March in Birmingham. Great band.
Debut singles always have that something to them.
