This isn't demo...this is the version that was on the 9-1/2 Weeks soundtrack...I have this version from that album and the version from 'She'... both are stunning... check out her version with Heart from their album Desire Walks On... very hard. Amazing song!
+Andrew Vail I like all versions of the song. This version also appears on the 9 1/2 Weeks soundtrack. I read somewhere that Lisa Dalbello could only provide a demo version of the song for the movie, so I decided to tag this version as "demo version" in order to differ from the album version. Same thing with the "Baby Doll" version. :)
+forgotten realms Interesting. This version sounds very complete;. I've heard the demo version of Baby Doll...sounds very different and more demo-y... still love it. She's so crazy talented! :-)
It has been titled "demo version" because Lisa herself mentioned in an interview that she could only provide a demo version of the song for the movie, because the song wasn't ready for her record. Lisa has mentioned this on several occasions, hence the title :)
outstanding!!!
I always love how when you say stranger
Just when I thought I had all the versions of this great track - Thanks for posting!
So much better than studio version

God damn it, after declaring 80's retro officially over, I had to rediscover this track.
The 80s forever, actually!
As god a s Hearts version is, doesn't come close to the writers version and performance. So many of Lisa's songs are timeless
I'm looking for this version on itunes but can never find it. I recently found a different version on itunes but don't like it as much as this one. :(
Same here.
I have this version on 7" vinyl. It's the single version. Not a demo.
