Our dark reputation isn't entirely undeserved granted, but there were GOOD great Slytherins through out history (Merlin himself for example, Professor Slughorn and of course Snape!). I think it would be awesome to play a "moral" Slytherin character who defies stereotypes and sets a good example for others. As a proud, cunning Slytherin I'm definately going with that house FIRST! Thanks for the breakdown.
Snape is debatable. Yes he did help Harry and gave his life for him, but he was not a good guy in general. He was a bully, who often picked on the other students, especially Neville, and he loved to dish out punishments to any other house but his own, and he would always reward Slytherins for no reason while punishing anyone else.

I was sorted into Slytherin for the first time all those years ago on the original Pottermore. Even though it was a shock for me at the time, ever since then I've been a proud member of this House, and you bet I'll pick it during my playthrough of Hogwarts Legacy. Always thought I was anything but Slytherin, but I've come to realize that I possess and value a lot of Slytherin traits. So the Sorting Hat made the right choice for me. 🐍
Pottermore used literally one question to determine where you should be put. Hardly a personality marker. It catered to where people wanted to be put over where they Should be Put. Something to keep in mind.

I just want to point out that Professor Ronen's snake pins are almost identical to the pins Lucius Malfoy wore in the Chamber of Secrets movie when he was in Burgin and Burke's. Also, as a Slytherin, I wouldn't even dream of playing in another house in my first playthrough.
Everyone should do the test on wizarding world and really RP. I took the test thinking I was cold and would be a slytherin, it put me in gryffindor. The wand thing is cool too. It was a really fun pre-game thing to interact with, and definitely deepens the RP elements to the game. Plus you get bonus in game items, so why not. I was skeptical, but it was really cool.
Yeah I am playing Ravenclaw as that was what WW put me in, in truth I think I am a cross between Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff as I value intelligence and learning but I really like nature and animals. I will definitely do a playthrough will all houses although I doubt it really matters as the quests will essentially be the same.

Its not about choosing. The Sorting Hat placed me in Gryffindor (Even if I am very happy I did got sorted in Gryffindor). And on my Second Play I will play Ravenclaw because my second House according when I did all questions by The Sorting Hat were you can see % of each House , Ravenclaw was a clear second for me.

@@charlierose619 Wizarding World, you can do the Patronus and Wand tests too. You should try it, its cool and if you re going to play the game you'll know which house fits you the better, you can choose which you want anyway but that should help.
I was choosing Slytherin regardless, I'm making my character learn all the Dark Arts. Wonder how that will play into the story? Edit: After answering the questions it turns out I'm more suited for Ravenclaw. I'll pick that one but I'm still going to learn the Dark Arts.

There should be an alternate option where if you denied the unforgivable curses, you could have access to the Patronus charm. This would also make sense since a Patronus charm can only be cast by the pure of heart...

During cutscenes your player talks pretty intelligently also within short time in hogwarts as masterd spells better then all his classmates and even has the ancient magic ability seems like a ravenclaw to me

It would be helpful to know how big this decision will affect gameplay. In cyberpunk, it really only effective the prologue in a handful of dialogue choices.

I'm a proud Slytherin but that common room is not it for me, not fan of the skeletons everywhere, definitely my lowest ranked common room. The house entry is fire, I love the appearing snake and it definitely stand out of all the other house entries. Dorm wise, I don't mind how dark it is, personally I like that for a room since I'm not a fan of outside light in the morning lol Overall I would have liked if the common room was more fancy and less creepy with those skeletons. It had potential with the windows looking at the water, and the inside waterfall but I can't get over the hanging skulls, it looks like a hunting cabin and it makes it more tacky than fancy 🤷🏽♀

I did some research and I am actually surprised with what I found: Patronus - Oryx The oryx is proud and elegant. They command a room and find friends and followers easily, and are easy to trust.
