Why wouldn't EC be over 4 not under 4 for sodic soils? I know this is correct, I just can't explain why saline-sodic soils can be above 4 for EC, but sodic, which is worse is lower.

Bio engineer for sodic soils. Many plants thrive in salt soil, beets for one. I sure we need only add these traits to other crop varieties.
