I have heard Johnny sing many times he had a great voice he could sing the phone book and it would be a great to hear Ireland has many good singers I love all their music the words are beautifully put.

a good few years ago johnny my god try 1966 when your first song mursheen durkin came out god you still look young considering he was one of the first artists on the irish scene , apart from the late great danny doyle rip, and big tom , after the showbands of course solo and so on, I remember brid thornton and maire and ann casey back home singing mursheen. . going over the road long ago 46 years in fact in their early teens now they in late 50's early 60s, shows how long john is on the road
