    The world become more homely and friendly when we have good friends all over the world.

    I was shocked at just how different each one is, I wonder if there is one near me now. Also loving the 2 food videos in a row ❤️

      I need to look more into all of these roads, but it seems like a lot of them are in central Japan because of the route from Tokyo to Kyoto but people coming from Chiba must have needed somewhere to rest! And also snacks for all the walking 😂❤️

    the open roof balcony was an architectural feature I have never come across before. in most places especially if was residential building it would probably be more practical to enclose the space as another bedroom , unless the owner was a really wanting to come out for fresh air and blue sky watching

      I’d never seen anything like it either! It’s a really cool way to incorporate an observatory into the town without ruining the preserved town feeling. I wonder what they do when it rains though..

    Its interesting to see all the ancient businesses still operating in Japan. I think the world record for non governmental businesses is a Japanese construction company, followed by a 500 year old continuously run onsen hotel

      I vaguely remember something like that about an onsen ryokan! It’s both impressive and fascinating that so little has changed in some areas of the country

    Authentic. Didn't see a vending machine, a Kombini or a Starb&&ks.

      And no instagrammers bar us(ish) in sight 😂. The little grocery store had a million times more personality than any kombini, it was delightful to see 🥰

      They’re always a little far from major stations, but not impossible to get to by public transport! We’ve started adding directions in our recent video descriptions so hopefully you’ll find them helpful 😊
