Dude, same! Hiragana and Katakana being pronounced exactly as it's written is so nice! Except when は is used as a particle... Or つ,しandち not being tu, si and ti like it seems like they should be based on how they're categorized. (Tsu and shi are close enough, but chi is a whole different sound. Ti just doesn't exist) Or を... And don't even get me started on Kanji readings!!
Imagine making a phonetic alphabet with only a handful of easy to remember exceptions, making it so that any word you see you can 100% know how to pronoun it no matter how unknown it is to you, and then throwing that all out the window to use kanji instead. So many thousands of unique characters that individually mean entire words, some being so busy and condensed that seeing them on a screen makes them look like solid squares (I feel so bad for old people in Japan with vision problems), and each one can have several readings depending on the context, and if you see one you don't recognize you can't even *begin* to even attempt to pronounce it, which also makes it impossible to type since you can only type kanji by typing out it's reading and using auto suggest to switch it to kanji, which makes it impossible to look up words you don't know

"Oie" in Portuguese is a form to say "Hi"
    *NiCe*
Now I'm thinking about all the times I said Oie to a random game server searching for Brazilians/Portuguese speakers and the French people just observing a weirdo saying "Goose!" to everyone
A pedido de muitos, aqui vai a tradução:
"Oie" em português é uma forma de dizer "Oi".
    ShOw dE BoLa
Agora estou pensando em todas as vezes que eu falei Oie em um servidor de um jogo aleatório procurando por brasileiros/falantes de português e os franceses só observando um estranho falando "Ganso!" pra todo mundo.
Meu português é uma porcaria = meu inglês é uma porcaria. Mas vocês conseguiram entender, então tá de boa
