live version of "follow the river home" from the album "Follow the River Home" (Jeff Pearce Music, 2016). Played on a guitar that belonged to my friend, the late Michael Diamond.
Jeff there is something so spiritual about listening to your music, Its great for meditation and reflection , thank you for creating such beautiful soundscapes, I hope you will tour here in NY soon
It was nice to follow the rabbit hole on youtube today and find your music for the first time. I didn't feel right with just following the beat and when I noodled with reverb/delay/pitch I found myself off the beaten path. I'm a relatively new guitar player and until now I didn't know there was a community where I would find a home for the sound that was in my head. Jeff, thank you, for sharing your art and helping me with mine.
Just turned on to you by a great musician friend of mine. This is a breath of fresh air. Because I thought I was alone. I'm still practicing but limited to Gt1 for now and still loving this journey on guitar. Coming from decades of drums and some keys. What a precious tone my friend. Breathing the emotional releases.
thanks so much for the kindness, Robert! The "journey" on guitar has been a strong love of my life for approaching 40 years- and what I've found the most is that the "mystery" of music and the instrument is getting deeper and deeper- and I have far more questions now than answers (I had all the answers about music in my early 20's... :) ). But they are GOOD questions, and they keep me headed toward a good place.
@@jeffpearcemusic You are very very talented. Knowing your long experience with guitar and utilizing the more emotional deep atmospheric stuff is endless. The pallet is ours my friend. So beautiful. I used to play Jazz, metal and prog etc many years. Drumming was and probably is my bones. But this expressive nature of guitar , well. I think you clearly and cleverly stated the words above. Peace and I'll surely be around.
thanks so much, Karen! I actually have quite a few cd's. :) you can find them on amazon- if you prefer downloads, they're on iTunes (and other digital sites) as well. this song is from my most recent album "follow the river home".

One of the best ever!!
What reverb are you using? I use the Neunaber Slate with the wet or plate setting.
Jeff, your not using a loop on this song are you?
