“It’s never too late for an adventure. Just try and see. And I think you will be surprised how well you do. You either rust out or wear out. I chose to wear out.” - Dorothy, 102 years young. Thank you Dorothy for showing us how to live life to its fullest. We love this woman so much! / Staffan & Ammar
As a proud Aussie, im so happy that Dorothy got to experience my home, and complete her goal of visiting every continent. I cant think of a better group of people to have helped her achieve this. What an inspirational lady. ❤
when Staffan asked where she gets all the jokes from, I realized how in the moment she lives, she doesn't worry if the joke will be funny or not, no pressure no expectations, and that's how she gets it, just living in the present moment and not worrying about the outcome.

It's amazing how simple yet complex it is to stay present, but it makes the most sense. I wish I would have learned that sooner.
My 82 year old Mom just watched this and the previous one of Dorothy. And said 'lets start saving for this when I'm 102 and you're 82'. Pretty sure my beautiful Mom is going to outlive me for sure! She is very adventurous, gorgeous, graceful and so so kind'. She still kayaks, hikes with me and 'the girls' once a week. And has been going to aerobics for the past couple of months with her friends.
I love reading this! Shows how important it is to keep our body and mind busy as much as we can and be thankful when both fully function well as we age!!
I am in my 40s, and I honestly hope for her wish to be fulfilled, let me know in the future... So 20 years later? so in 2042? I also wish to have great journeys too in the future. I hope I will still around to know your journey with your mom and also share my own stories too :)
What an incredible journey! We are so grateful to Yes Theory for making one of our residents' bucket list come true! Seeing her travel across the world to Australia and live out such a meaningful adventure has been truly heartwarming for our entire senior community. This is a beautiful reminder to check in with seniors around you - they have dreams and stories worth celebrating! It's never too late to say "yes" to new possibilities and live life to the fullest! - Denise
Seeing how you treated your seniors and that everyone is always at ease really warmed my heart. I've seen terrible treatment before at retirement homes, and to say yours is the complete opposite is an understatement. I know you are paid to do what you do, but I genuinely do appreciate the extra passion for your residents. Thank you all.
As an Aussie, I'm honoured Dorothy made it to my continent/country to complete her list. Bless her and all of you who made this happen and celebrated her along the way.
Working in a nursing home here in Sydney truely opens your eyes to the daily challenges faced by the elderly, particularly when it comes to feelings of loneliness and sadness. Seeing Dorothy, at 102 years old, embark on this journey was nothing short of remarkable. This would have brought so much joy and excitement back into her life, and it has reminded me, and I bet many others, the importance of creating special moments for our elderly population, who have given so much throughout their lives.

There is something so unbelievably special, beautiful and soul nourishing about their interactions with each other here, and seeing the real life positive and inspirational impact unfold as Dorothy is shared with the world. Her family will treasure this video forever!
8:58 Why do I find Staffan calling Ammar 'Habibi' to be so heartwarming? It's just so crazy to me that this man the boys met on a random street in Sweden has become such a intergral part of the Yes Theory family, you truly never know who you'll meet and what impact they'll have on your life!
I fluctuated between crying and smiling until my face hurt. These two episodes were recommended to me by a friend. I am so glad I watched. Dorothy is truly amazing. What an incredible thing you did and the beauty of it was it was that it’ is so clear that the connection was genuine. My mother is 107 & 8 months old. Unfortunately dementia set in a couple of years ago. Watching this and thinking about the emotions I felt, made me realize how blessed both she and I have been. I befriended a man who was 79 when we met, and I would consider him one of the best friends I've ever made. For a generation with backaches and knee pain in their 30s, who find excuses to avoid adventure, Dorothy is the biggest inspiration. We have no excuses now! ❤🎉
That’s the age when that sort of stuff starts for most people. There’s a reason the joke is “at the age of 25 you get a random permanent debuff and another every seven years”.
If anyone in their 30s with actual backache and knee pains is reading this, it's really cool to explore the world, but if you want to get rid of your pain you should excercise regularly and in most cases that will solve it.
Men,at 29 lost my job haven't worked for an year, feeling lost and confused with this life, seeing this video is just what i needed to remind its never too late.God bless you Dorothy and yes theory.
Well I'm 29 and have been unemployed for most of my adult life due to mental health and, sometimes, honestly using it as an excuse to convince myself that I couldn't do something but you know, I just found a job recently and I'm feeling great, people I work with are chill and friendly and I don't feel so lost anymore. Got my boss and my supervisor noticing and complimenting me on the quality and speed I picked things up, offering me alternative positions which are easier and with a better pay only a few hours ago as of writing this. I've been there for a month now. Things get better man, take it easy on yourself but try not to get as complacent as I did for all those years, it's a downward spiral that doesn't end until you decide to stop and start climbing again.
You will get through this time it will help you transform into the version of yourself you need to be ❤ let go of the feeling of being judged by others (people always will judge with everything and thats okay its their problem not yours) or the pressure of you needing to have met any social norms - you are doing your BEST on your lifejourney that is only meant to be yours alone there is no rule to life. If everybody in this world was like yes theory not only would this world be a better place but it may just explode from the unmeasurable amount of love and happiness that you bring to this place.
I often get stuck in a spiral of heavy emotions when thinking about all the atrocities of the world, leaving me deeply sad, frustrated and lacking hope. Thank you for reminding us that love and beauty is still all around! Your videos leave me feeling proud to be human, inspire me to lead with love and kindness and fill me with hope for the future
The concept of it being "too late" for anything, even at my relatively young age, tends to trip me up. Been trying to live like I can do anything at any time, and I truly think we all can. Seeing it in practice here is wonderful!
I think we’re all vulnerable to it, to be honest, and it’s good to be reminded that it’s all relative. We can still do what we can today, and not “rusting out” as she said, keeps in better shape to keep doing what is important to us.
4:20- A rainbow appears at her retirement home then 'Somewhere Over the Rainbow' gets sung right before the 102-year-old Dorothy makes her jaunt to Oz! BTW, I just realized that since Miss Dorothy is now 102 , that means she was born in 1922- the same year as Judy Garland! Seriously, though, it's great that Miss Dorothy, her daughter, Steffan, Ammar and everyone who got to travel and interact with her had such a great time while she ventured to her 7th continent1 Thanks!
56 beat cancer and heart attack. I've kind of given up but Dorothy reminded me that I'm still young enough to go and see the world. Afterall, I beat two big illnesses and dang it I'm still alive. Thanks for the swift kick in the butt Dorothy! Can't wait to see you at 103.
Thank you for making me unexpectedly bawl my eyes while snacking. 2 days ago my 104 years old grandma passed away. This video is a heart balm. Dorothy, such a queen. Love you guys❤
Quanta’s airlines are genuinely incredible. I flew economy from SFO to Sydney years ago and it was the best economy experience I have ever had. And their domestic flights are amazing too, they feed you on every dang flight even if it’s a short one. Such lovely people too, I’m not at all surprised they rose to the occasion and were so kind to Dorothy. Nothing more fitting than Dorthy being sent off with a rainbow to visit OZ!!! What a beautiful story and women.
I love so much how Staffan always connects with the “grandparents” you meet in your travels. It’s like he has a bunch of grandparents all over the world. Just lovely each time I see it. I know Dorthy was joking and said “you seemed harmless” but I just know they can see what a wonderful soul you have.
This is probably the most emotional a seek discomfort video has ever made me. My grandma always wanted to go to Australia before she passed, and I told her I would take her. I never got to. This is quite literally like living a dream I've always wanted to make happen. Thank you so much for this. ♥
i have a feeling that stef really loves her.........like there is a genuine love im seeing and it makes me miss my grandparents.....im so happy for you Dorothy!!!!!!
There are no words to describe this episode... in a way you would think just an old lady traveling the world. but there is so much more to it her energy, yes theory there commitment on making these kinds of videos and something to think of ourselves... hey why not try something new, something else. I ordered my parka with seek discomfort last year, and ordered a white version together with (talk to strangers). I love you guys more each episode... thank you for making me think to challenge things but also letting me be myself more. much love from a Dutch guy living in Kobe. forever love, you guys are amazing!
Dorothy is an inspiration to people of any age. A true ray of sunshine bursting with energy and life. Thank you Dorothy for teaching us all that it's never "too late" for anything!
Being ill and disabled, I know I'll never get to live Dorothy's life. I'm happy I was able to pack 4 lifetimes in my first 30 years, and will be thankful for whatever comes next, even if it will be slower and way more challenging. But 1 thing I've learned from this, and what I get from this video too, is that the physical material part of an adventure is only the scenery. The subject matter is the connections and the people you have around you. I wish I didn't have to, but I'll gladly trade my adventures for love and connection. My discomfort may be different, and it found me all on its own, but the message is the same: just keep living. What else is there to do?
What a humbling experience for this young lady!!!! I just love her. Her smile is contagious. I was literally smiling the whole time watching this. Thank you Yes Theory for making Miss Dorothy’s dream come to a reality. Thank you for including us in this wonderful story. Blessings from Oklahoma.
This video is incredible! Everything about it made me love Dorothy. I have been to six out of the seven continents. This video got me itching to visit my seventh continent as well💛.
This Dorothy story / adventure made me choke up, laugh, cry, and reminisce... In our family we have 2 long lived grandpas (107 and 99) and one long lived grandma (89) unfortunately our other grandma flew up to heaven just before I crash landed on earth 30 years ago and I never met her. I lost my 107 year old grandpa just 2 years ago, and these two videos of Dorothy made me remember him vividly, and when my story is all said and done I hope I remember this video, I hope when I see my grandparents in the sky I will hug them like how I hugged them as a young lad.
This is the biggest motivation for many generations to come. Am inspired to leave my comfort zone to explore the world. As a young african son such adventurous "stories " are not common. For the first time this weekend am taking 15hrs flight from Africa to South East Asia Indonesia Bali. Thanks Yes Theory thanks Dorothy. Your spirit and determination will never be engraved in our hearts.
I’ve watched Yes Theory for years and this is far and above my favorite video. So heartwarming and inspiring. Can’t wait to read the book on your adventures! Go Dorothy! 🎉
From a medical standpoint this is an INSANE feat and genuinely impressive and incredible! Just her physical and mental condition alone at her age is amazing and traveling this far at her age? Crazy
Knowing Dorthy was born in 1922 is just mind blowing. She is truly amazing! I aspire to be just a fraction as awesome as Dorthy. I hope all the best to Dorthy, and how amazing of everyone at Yes Theory for making this happen for her. So wholesome it almost hurts.

I can only pray that one day soon, you will come to understand that you also deserve good things in your life.
Please consider yourself hugged
Me too!
@@mustwereallydothis lol thanks
the saddest souls smile the brightest
Plot twist: The 102-year-old was just trying to get their steps in for the day, and you turned it into a global tour. Respect
This is the Yes Theory I missed, knew, and loved. Rock on guys!
Seriously, though, it's great that Miss Dorothy, her daughter, Steffan, Ammar and everyone who got to travel and interact with her had such a great time while she ventured to her 7th continent1
Thanks!
That's amazing! Take this video as a sign. Rooting for you!
She truly doesn't look a day over 79! What a sweet, lovely and funny lady! That woman is a force of nature!
Currently watching this with my mom (who is 65 and I'm 33). "Love you guys. Every one have an amazing day/evening. Stay positive." - Debra
I love so much how Staffan always connects with the “grandparents” you meet in your travels. It’s like he has a bunch of grandparents all over the world. Just lovely each time I see it. I know Dorthy was joking and said “you seemed harmless” but I just know they can see what a wonderful soul you have.
I love Staffan’s enthusiasm and love for life.
It’s infectious 💗
The fact that we get free videos on TH-cam by Yes Theory is truly a gift; keeping knowledge and entertainment alive. 👏🙏🏽🤷
18:27 skinny dipping… “I will if you will “
I love this woman
"Closest we'll ever get to heaven"
The way I laughed 😂. I hope to be as spry and humourus as she is when I'm older.
that was so funny...
She caught me so off guard with that one 😂
Can Dorothy live forever please 🥲 what a legend!
This is probably the most emotional a seek discomfort video has ever made me. My grandma always wanted to go to Australia before she passed, and I told her I would take her. I never got to. This is quite literally like living a dream I've always wanted to make happen. Thank you so much for this. ♥
How fkn good are Aussies, best people in the world
i have a feeling that stef really loves her.........like there is a genuine love im seeing and it makes me miss my grandparents.....im so happy for you Dorothy!!!!!!
I’m not crying, you’re crying! 🥲
😂 I was 😂
No I'm not I swear 😭
I had some ninja cutting onions
From the very first minute until the last 😭😂
You're right I am.😢
This woman is incredibly lucid for her age!!
This is the sweetest thing I've seen in a while. You gentlemen are amazing! Thank you for making Dorothy's dreams come true.
She’s having so much fun and that’s why she’s living for so long. You guys helped her live longer!
I can't help but smile for 30 minutes straight - watching this 😂 This is beautiful to watch, oh god
Dorothy is an inspiration to people of any age. A true ray of sunshine bursting with energy and life. Thank you Dorothy for teaching us all that it's never "too late" for anything!
One thing I noticed, she hasn't had a single happy tear. She was laughing, excited, mesmerized and what not. Hats off yes theory.. love you guys ❤
So sweet and so honest. #1 reason why I'm a Yes Theory fan at 50. Thank you for this wonderful video.
DOROTHY & her daughter are so sweet. Thank- you yes theory for giving (DOROTHY) her 7th continent 🥰
I love dorothy. She’s worth her weight in gold. Beautiful soul
I wish when i turn 102. I want to have all the strength and power like Dorthy to still travel all around the world! Such an inspiration 🤩
Her lovely positive spirit is keeping her young. This is so wholesome, I enjoyed every minute of the video.
Gratitude equals resilience. I smiled and cried through this video, pure joy because Dorothy spread it herself. Thanks, guys. 🐑🐑🇳🇿🇳🇿NZ
'You could either rust out or wear out.' That was a beautiful quote from Dorothy. Much Love❤
I just LOVE Dorothy!! My great grandma passed this past March at the age of 106. Ms. Dorothy has such a loving spirit! Great job Yes Theory!!!
God bless her, literally melt my heart to see Dorothy ticking off her bucket list. And don tell me I'm the only one tearing up right now.
I have never smiled in full 30 minutes in my life💞
SMILE. U woke up today.
I don't know why I am crying, this has to be one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen :)
She has so much energy I can feel it by watch this video.. bless her
Constantly tearing up. Just such a beautiful display of connection ❤
This video is incredible! Everything about it made me love Dorothy. I have been to six out of the seven continents. This video got me itching to visit my seventh continent as well💛.
I was concerned about Dorothy getting too tired but then Steffan lol 15:48 This was such a sweet video. One of my favorites.❤
Such a lively and lovely 102 year Young Dorothy.
Happiness is the key ❤️.
Thank you Dorothy and the Yes Theory for these 2 episodes. 🥹
I love the way Amaar and Stafffan are taking care of Dorothy like her own....This story is of resilience and kindness.. and I loved it ...from India
That retirement home has to be the most beautiful in the world
Thank you so much for your kind words! Our community is filled with incredible people who inspire us every day!
And that’s how you make a 44 year old man cry 😢
What an incredible story ❤
27:34 “if you wave with your left hand, it means you’re coming back ❤ (I just made that up)” oh, Dorothy! Great video guys. You all have big hearts.
I fully believed her when she said that lmao I guess I’m gullible 😂😂😂
I’ve watched Yes Theory for years and this is far and above my favorite video. So heartwarming and inspiring. Can’t wait to read the book on your adventures! Go Dorothy! 🎉
I'm not crying. You're crying. Bless her.
TH-cam video aside, real life wise, this is insane for a 102 year old to have happen for her and experience on so many levels and for them to endeavor
Right, imagine this happening to you
From a medical standpoint this is an INSANE feat and genuinely impressive and incredible!
As someone who finds the unknown very frightening, Dorothy's words are a challenge and an encouragement
As a nurse who exclusively works with our elders…. This lady looks incredible! One barely finds 80-something yr olds who appear so young and vital.
I dunno why but this is one of the most beautiful videos you've made. Just brought a lot of joy on a Monday morning! What a beautiful soul! Love that you guys did this with her and her daughter. What an awesome experience. I'd love to see you do something like this again! Congrats Dorothy! Much love from Canada❤ You are a true superstar!
i work in a nursing home, this was so awesome of you guys!!! please never stop!❤
As a suicidal being, her love for life is so inspiring and heartbreaking at the same time. You're rockin Dorothy!
Why would you ever hurt yourself
Take care!
same here this made me cry tears of joy it really put my life into perspective
Keep going!! May you do great and wonderful things in your life!! ❤
This feels like classic Yes Theory and I love everything about it.
This is such an amazing TH-cam video ❤
I don't know why I am welling up with tears while watching the whole episode. Thank you for fulfilling Dorothy's wish. Thank you, Yes Theory! ❤
“Wave with your left hand means you’re coming back” 💖💖💖💖💖💖💖
My biggest fear of finishing this one, was the last page of "In Memory of Dorothy" she is an amazing soul!
I was half expecting it but so relieved to not see it.
