There is something so unbelievably special, beautiful and soul nourishing about their interactions with each other here, and seeing the real life positive and inspirational impact unfold as Dorothy is shared with the world. Her family will treasure this video forever!
My 82 year old Mom just watched this and the previous one of Dorothy. And said 'lets start saving for this when I'm 102 and you're 82'. Pretty sure my beautiful Mom is going to outlive me for sure! She is very adventurous, gorgeous, graceful and so so kind'. She still kayaks, hikes with me and 'the girls' once a week. And has been going to aerobics for the past couple of months with her friends.
I love reading this! Shows how important it is to keep our body and mind busy as much as we can and be thankful when both fully function well as we age!!
I am in my 40s, and I honestly hope for her wish to be fulfilled, let me know in the future... So 20 years later? so in 2042? I also wish to have great journeys too in the future. I hope I will still around to know your journey with your mom and also share my own stories too :)
@@susanrichardson8035 She might have had a hearing aid. You can't easily see the modern ones and she seems to be in-tune with technology. Either way, she's insanely impressive in every aspect. I wonder what man (or men) were lucky enough to marry her and what their stories were.
When I was 17, I befriended a colleague who was 67. We liked all the same kinds of films and would have tea together once a week and would watch an action film together (she loved Die Hard). When I went to uni, we would send each other letters. Sadly, she passed away 20 years ago, but I always think of her whenever I hear the name John McClane.
8:58 Why do I find Staffan calling Ammar 'Habibi' to be so heartwarming? It's just so crazy to me that this man the boys met on a random street in Sweden has become such a intergral part of the Yes Theory family, you truly never know who you'll meet and what impact they'll have on your life!
“It’s never too late for an adventure. Just try and see. And I think you will be surprised how well you do. You either rust out or wear out. I befriended a man who was 79 when we met, and I would consider him one of the best friends I've ever made. I was 24 at the time and he was just such a great guy, awesome perspective on life, amazing sense of humor, and always had the best advice (usually paired with a hilarious story). Sadly, he passed away earlier this year, but he never stopped smiling or living life to the fullest. I'll miss you Noel. Don't count out the elderly, most are young at heart.
Noel’s spirit will forever live on because you are here speaking about him. Your friend sounds like he was a truly special man and I’m guessing a lot of him has rubbed off on to you. You were both so blessed to find each other in life I’m sure one day when your time comes, Noel will be waiting with St Peter to welcome his best friend home to the kingdom of Heaven. May life bring you so much happiness and blessings until then. R.I.P Noel 🕊️✝️🙏

Wow, I can’t believe Dorothy is 102! She looks absolutely amazing-I genuinely thought she was 75!! How does she do it?! 🌟 I have severe spondylitis and it’s forced me to slow down and put so many of my dreams on hold. But seeing Dorothy’s story has completely changed my perspective. She’s living proof that anything is possible, no matter what life throws at you. Her journey reminds me to not give up on my dreams, no matter how hard things may seem. Thank you, Dorothy, for inspiring me to believe again and showing me that there’s still so much to explore, achieve, and enjoy in this beautiful world! You’re an inspiration to us all!! 🥹❤❤❤❤❤❤
Working in a nursing home here in Sydney truely opens your eyes to the daily challenges faced by the elderly, particularly when it comes to feelings of loneliness and sadness. Seeing Dorothy, at 102 years old, embark on this journey was nothing short of remarkable. This would have brought so much joy and excitement back into her life, and it has reminded me, and I bet many others, the importance of creating special moments for our elderly population, who have given so much throughout their lives.
As an Aussie, I'm honoured Dorothy made it to my continent/country to complete her list. Bless her and all of you who made this happen and celebrated her along the way.

For a generation with backaches and knee pain in their 30s, who find excuses to avoid adventure, Dorothy is the biggest inspiration. We have no excuses now! ❤🎉
That’s the age when that sort of stuff starts for most people. There’s a reason the joke is “at the age of 25 you get a random permanent debuff and another every seven years”.
If anyone in their 30s with actual backache and knee pains is reading this, it's really cool to explore the world, but if you want to get rid of your pain you should excercise regularly and in most cases that will solve it.
Men,at 29 lost my job haven't worked for an year, feeling lost and confused with this life, seeing this video is just what i needed to remind its never too late.God bless you Dorothy and yes theory.
Well I'm 29 and have been unemployed for most of my adult life due to mental health and, sometimes, honestly using it as an excuse to convince myself that I couldn't do something but you know, I just found a job recently and I'm feeling great, people I work with are chill and friendly and I don't feel so lost anymore. Got my boss and my supervisor noticing and complimenting me on the quality and speed I picked things up, offering me alternative positions which are easier and with a better pay only a few hours ago as of writing this. I've been there for a month now. Things get better man, take it easy on yourself but try not to get as complacent as I did for all those years, it's a downward spiral that doesn't end until you decide to stop and start climbing again.
You will get through this time it will help you transform into the version of yourself you need to be ❤ let go of the feeling of being judged by others (people always will judge with everything and thats okay its their problem not yours) or the pressure of you needing to have met any social norms - you are doing your BEST on your lifejourney that is only meant to be yours alone there is no rule to life. These Phases are normal for EVERYONE to experience to level up in life - it should be talked about more. Each day is a new start for you to reset your life to let go of the version you were yesterday
"You could either rust out or wear out, and i'm trying to wear out" - One of the most beautiful things i've heard in my life. You guys need to put it on a shirt! My fav yes theory video ever

I fluctuated between crying and smiling until my face hurt. These two episodes were recommended to me by a friend. I am so glad I watched. Dorothy is truly amazing. What an incredible thing you did and the beauty of it was it was that it’ is so clear that the connection was genuine. My mother is 107 & 8 months old. Unfortunately dementia set in a couple of years ago. Watching this and thinking about the emotions I felt, made me realize how blessed both she and I have been. I have to reframe my thought process from one of sadness to that of being grateful for all the experiences we were able to have. Thank you for sharing this story, and you now have a new 73 yr old subscriber. Cheers to Dorothy and her daughter!! You guys are gems. 😊❤🤗 Kathy
Seek Discomfort had my back when my dad died a couple of years ago. I will never forget that. Love the content that's created and message you guys send. It's much appreciated
She is incredible. The love in your hearts is beyond words. Making a difference or touching someone's heart is what I believe one of the most precious gifts we can give. Thank you all for your love and your belief in life.
Dorothy is my spirit animal!!!! This episode made me bawl my eyes out in such a happy way!!! Thank you for gifting her this adventure, and thank you, Dorothy, for showing us age is just a number!!! Much Love!!
The concept of it being "too late" for anything, even at my relatively young age, tends to trip me up. Been trying to live like I can do anything at any time, and I truly think we all can. Seeing it in practice here is wonderful!
I think we’re all vulnerable to it, to be honest, and it’s good to be reminded that it’s all relative. We can still do what we can today, and not “rusting out” as she said, keeps in better shape to keep doing what is important to us.
4:20- A rainbow appears at her retirement home then 'Somewhere Over the Rainbow' gets sung right before the 102-year-old Dorothy makes her jaunt to Oz! BTW, I just realized that since Miss Dorothy is now 102 , that means she was born in 1922- the same year as Judy Garland! Seriously, though, it's great that Miss Dorothy, her daughter, Steffan, Ammar and everyone who got to travel and interact with her had such a great time while she ventured to her 7th continent1 Thanks!
I'm crying. Dorothy sounds EXACTLY like my grandma who passed in 2019. It was like hearing my grandmother again. She was the most adventurous person I've ever known and truly embodied the yes theory mission. She loved to discover new places and discover new purpose. Thank you for this beautiful video.
Qantas airlines are genuinely incredible. I flew economy from SFO to Sydney years ago and it was the best economy experience I have ever had. And their domestic flights are amazing too, they feed you on every dang flight even if it’s a short one. Such lovely people too, I’m not at all surprised they rose to the occasion and were so kind to Dorothy. Nothing more fitting than Dorthy being sent off with a rainbow to visit OZ!!! What a beautiful story and women.
@ thanks I didn’t even catch that my autocorrect messed that up! I even googled the airline to make sure I spelled it right but looks like it flipped it. It even tried to do it again when I just corrected it lol
Shes so cool! Ive had a shit couple of days, just lost my grand pa but he loved traveling this made me feel better, shout out to the elderly, wells of wisdom
What an inspiring person. This is seriously one of my favourite episodes I have watched from them. It made me so emotional to see her thriving and being able to complete a lifelong dream. What kindness she exudes, a wonderful woman. And the fact that her daughter was able to share this memory with her is just beautiful.
I love so much how Staffan always connects with the “grandparents” you meet in your travels. It’s like he has a bunch of grandparents all over the world. Just lovely each time I see it. I know Dorthy was joking and said “you seemed harmless” but I just know they can see what a wonderful soul you have.
This is probably the most emotional a seek discomfort video has ever made me. My grandma always wanted to go to Australia before she passed, and I told her I would take her. I never got to. This is quite literally like living a dream I've always wanted to make happen. Thank you so much for this. ♥
I'm Blessed to have my wife's 97 year old mother living with us. Amazed every day as to how full of energy she is, this story was wonderful Thank you for sharing this.
Thank you for making me unexpectedly bawl my eyes while snacking. 2 days ago my 104 years old grandma passed away. This video is a heart balm. Dorothy, such a queen. Love you guys❤
This is one of the more wholeosme thing ive seen on the internet....like ever! She is so sharp and so sweet what an amazing thing to do. Ive always thought travelling the world as an older person would be more meaningful somehow, life is weird like that, you can do more younger but appreciate more older and wiser, but then the memories have less years, yet can really make as much impact if not more because memories fade with time.....making fresh memories at that age would be so comforting
From a medical standpoint this is an INSANE feat and genuinely impressive and incredible! Just her physical and mental condition alone at her age is amazing and traveling this far at her age? Crazy
@@katie-kb6qd Yes yes yes! It's all around insane. She makes it look easy. Genes plays a huge role for sure, but she's got the menality and spirit to top it off. With my genes, I'm lucky if I make it to 50 lol
Knowing Dorthy was born in 1922 is just mind blowing. She is truly amazing! I aspire to be just a fraction as awesome as Dorthy. I hope all the best to Dorthy, and how amazing of everyone at Yes Theory for making this happen for her. So wholesome it almost hurts.
Dorothy is an inspiration to people of any age. A true ray of sunshine bursting with energy and life. Thank you Dorothy for teaching us all that it's never "too late" for anything!
Such a wonderful woman and a beautiful soul I thought about this imagine that a child that meets Dorothy could go to Mars or the stars and still be connected to someone that was born were they had carts, drawn by horses. Dream those dreams.
I'm still young and I have my days where I'm so tired and worn out, I just want to give up and lay in bed for a week straight. At 102 I can't imagine how she is feeling, but the smile on her face always shows that she is in complete control over her emotions and how her day pans out. Really an inspiring story and I'm glad so many people came together to make it extra special, she definitely deserves it. Long live Dorothy.
Being ill and disabled, I know I'll never get to live Dorothy's life. I'm happy I was able to pack 4 lifetimes in my first 30 years, and will be thankful for whatever comes next, even if it will be slower and way more challenging. But 1 thing I've learned from this, and what I get from this video too, is that the physical material part of an adventure is only the scenery. The subject matter is the connections and the people you have around you. I wish I didn't have to, but I'll gladly trade my adventures for love and connection. My discomfort may be different, and it found me all on its own, but the message is the same: just keep living. What else is there to do?
This was very comforting to read... I'm also chronically ill and sometimes it makes me sad to think that I likely won't be able to do the kind of travelling I imagined myself doing before getting ill. But it's true that that's not not all life is about, and there's still plenty of good things to enjoy.
@vlabla2405 At least we don't have to seek discomfort, since it already found us eh? 😅 But in seriousness: these videos keep showing that it isn't the grand experiences that matter the most. It's the connections and people we meet. Our lives' experiences may be a bit more stationary, but they are unique in their own way. And there's so much joy to be had there too. I learned so much throughout my illness, and even though I lost a lot, I gained far more and deeper connections. If this is my path, I'll take it for all it is. ❤️
@@boneitchHaha, very true! And I agree that connections are the most important thing in life. Being ill has made it harder for me to meet new people, but it also makes me value the friends that I do have more than ever. I think it's great that you can accept your illness for what it is and embrace the lessons that come with it!
I dont know why, but i cried nearly the entirety of this episode. It's so inspirational. What a beautiful episode thank you all so much for those who made this happen. We really do live in such a wonderful world.

@@yo.adrienne-SFum I need your family secrets as to how you all are staying so young 😭😂
With so much negativity and hatred and selfishness everywhere seeing Dorothy made me hopeful and smile for 30min.
The most heartwarming story of 2024.
agreed!
I can’t stop smiling and crying! 😭 The previous video and this one are by far the best Yes Theory videos they’ve ever produced.
She's definitely on the right path!
Wow! That’s awesome!
I love reading this! Shows how important it is to keep our body and mind busy as much as we can and be thankful when both fully function well as we age!!
That’s wonderful!
I am in my 40s, and I honestly hope for her wish to be fulfilled, let me know in the future... So 20 years later? so in 2042?
I also wish to have great journeys too in the future. I hope I will still around to know your journey with your mom and also share my own stories too :)
I hope I can be as clear of mind as Dorothy in old age. 102 years and she hasn't lost her wit, and the world is all the better for it.
Or apparantely her hearing. Did you notice that she heard everything?
@@susanrichardson8035 I did. She's quite amazing.
We’ll be dead long before 😂
@@jz7079 With that attitude you will be.
I wasn't prepared to cry, but man this was so beautiful.
I’m also the woman on the plane crying for her 😭❤️ So incredibly inspiring ✨
Omg! I’d be crying too❤❤❤
8:58 Why do I find Staffan calling Ammar 'Habibi' to be so heartwarming? It's just so crazy to me that this man the boys met on a random street in Sweden has become such a intergral part of the Yes Theory family, you truly never know who you'll meet and what impact they'll have on your life!
RIGHT!
For real🥹
Brothers for life
"Rust out or wear out. I chose to wear out!" A motto to live by. Thank you Stefan and Amir for making her wish come true. ❤
Yes, I loved that phrase so much!
“It’s never too late for an adventure. Just try and see. And I think you will be surprised how well you do. You either rust out or wear out. I chose to wear out.”
For someone who's been feeling lost and afraid of making some big decisions because of some failures in the past, her quote just provided the boost of inspiration that I need.
Currently Being in Indonesia with my grandmother 77 I’m 21. She said yes to finally go with me to her home country! Such a blessing
This video gives life a different perspective. Dorothy is living proof that laughter and good humour is key to longevity.
Indeed! ❤
@ I don’t know if there has been a day that’s gone by where I don’t share a story about him or from him. My last memory with him was exploring Google and looking up his old addresses so he could reminisce in all the places he had lived. It was such a great time.
Noel will live forever in my heart.
@ Noel clearly had a huge effect upon you. I am so thankful you found each other and you made his latter years so special by being there for each other. It’s never too late for you too!

Wow, I can’t believe Dorothy is 102! She looks absolutely amazing-I genuinely thought she was 75!! How does she do it?! 🌟
I have severe spondylitis and it’s forced me to slow down and put so many of my dreams on hold.
I have a 2 year old daughter, seeing the picture of 2 year old Dorothy made my heart happy.
Plot twist: The 102-year-old was just trying to get their steps in for the day, and you turned it into a global tour. Respect
That retirement home has to be the most beautiful in the world
Thank you so much for your kind words! Our community is filled with incredible people who inspire us every day!
With time flying quickly, it's overwhelming. Seeing Dorothy at such age being stronger than me in my 20s brings me so much hope
Dorothy is so young at heart, I admire that! Love that she is investing in AI and cares for the future of the wildlife ❤
As an Aussie, I'm honoured Dorothy made it to my continent/country to complete her list.
Bless her and all of you who made this happen and celebrated her along the way.
also as an aussie bless Qantas for reaching their hand out for this one. The flying roo saving the day.
@@zhannymc1043 still an evil corporation, people forget things so quickly smh.. wow a multi-billion dollar company gave away a ticket wow so nice of them.

Blessings to Dorothy's daughter, too, for being by her side : )
Aw, thank you! I was so fortunate to be along on Dorothy's Trip!
@@yo.adrienne-SF Your mother is such an inspirational woman❤I have never seen any elderly person with such a positive attitude towards life.
She truly doesn't look a day over 79! What a sweet, lovely and funny lady! That woman is a force of nature!
What a wonderful memory with her daughter
Dorothy should be an honorary president of the Yes theory fans! She is absolutely amazing and whole heartedly encompasses the vibe you guys are going for and spread all over the world.
Hang in there... you'll find your way x
I’m not crying, you’re crying! 🥲

No I'm not I swear 😭

From the very first minute until the last 😭😂
You're right I am.😢
"You could either rust out or wear out, and i'm trying to wear out" - One of the most beautiful things i've heard in my life. You guys need to put it on a shirt! My fav yes theory video ever
If everybody in this world was like yes theory not only would this world be a better place but it may just explode from the unmeasurable amount of love and happiness that you bring to this place.
My eyes haven't been dry since you all met Dorothy and the trend continues. I love her life and happiness. She embodies the YES family!
She needs to be a part of the YesFam in the US
I fluctuated between crying and smiling until my face hurt.

Seek Discomfort had my back when my dad died a couple of years ago. I will never forget that. Love the content that's created and message you guys send. It's much appreciated
Blessings to you and your dad .. may his soul rest in peace
Much Love!!
By far one of the best stories told on the channel, Dorthy Is the 🐐
"Closest we'll ever get to heaven"
The way I laughed 😂. I hope to be as spry and humourus as she is when I'm older.
that was so funny...
She caught me so off guard with that one 😂
SMILE. U woke up today.
Shes very lucky shes still mobile and in good health. Unfortunately majority will never get that far in health!
I love Dorothy's spirit and charisma. This is one of the best episodes yet. Kudos to Yes Theory.
I was tearing up throughout the entire video. Such a wonderful trip you have given Dorothy. May she live many more years.
Me too just for feeling so happy . And grateful for her ❤🎉
Me three! Seriously, this is the most wholesome video I've seen!
Same
4:20- A rainbow appears at her retirement home then 'Somewhere Over the Rainbow' gets sung right before the 102-year-old Dorothy makes her jaunt to Oz!
BTW, I just realized that since Miss Dorothy is now 102 , that means she was born in 1922- the same year as Judy Garland!
Seriously, though, it's great that Miss Dorothy, her daughter, Steffan, Ammar and everyone who got to travel and interact with her had such a great time while she ventured to her 7th continent1
Thanks!
Alright, this is the sweetest thing I ever saw.
This melted every last pat of sadness from my heart. How deeply touching.... This one made me cry all over the place. lol
I'm crying. Dorothy sounds EXACTLY like my grandma who passed in 2019. It was like hearing my grandmother again. She was the most adventurous person I've ever known and truly embodied the yes theory mission. She loved to discover new places and discover new purpose. Thank you for this beautiful video.
The fact that we get free videos on TH-cam by Yes Theory is truly a gift; keeping knowledge and entertainment alive. 👏🙏🏽🤷
Qantas
Can Dorothy live forever please 🥲 what a legend!
Dorothy’s mind is as sharp as a 30 yr old! Bless her!
I was concerned about Dorothy getting too tired but then Steffan lol 15:48 This was such a sweet video. One of my favorites.❤
I just LOVE Dorothy!! My great grandma passed this past March at the age of 106. Ms. Dorothy has such a loving spirit! Great job Yes Theory!!!
That’s a very nice facility. Good livable architecture, good staff, residents that are fine with living, instead of just waiting to die. That’s great.
This is the Yes Theory I missed, knew, and loved. Rock on guys!
TH-cam video aside, real life wise, this is insane for a 102 year old to have happen for her and experience on so many levels and for them to endeavor
Right, imagine this happening to you
From a medical standpoint this is an INSANE feat and genuinely impressive and incredible!
"You can either rust out or wear out" is the hardest quote I ever heard and I'm using it.
Literally choking back tears the entire time - this was so special.
It's been a hell of a thing to watch. Just absolutely loaded with the pure feel goods that we don't really see a ton of.
What a beautiful woman, and her daughter is gorgeous too! You guys knocked this one out of the park. Just wonderful! Thank you.
My mother and I thank you for the compliment.
And that’s how you make a 44 year old man cry 😢
What an incredible story ❤
Dorothy is an inspiration to people of any age. A true ray of sunshine bursting with energy and life. Thank you Dorothy for teaching us all that it's never "too late" for anything!
Her jokes are pure and timeless, and her charm resonates with every generation. What an admirable soul! Dorothy for eternity. ❤
This woman is incredibly lucid for her age!!
But in seriousness: these videos keep showing that it isn't the grand experiences that matter the most.
This is so beautiful 😍😍. My daughter shared this video and I loved it to the core. Loved her spirit, her sense of humor ❤❤
I loved when the rainbow appeared and they sang “Somewhere Over The Rainbow” to Dorthy 🥰 right before she flew over the rainbow to Australia ❤️
