crystal organza (5m)
invisible zipper
elastic rubber for sleeve
Pattern Pieces-
outer dress:
1 layer of outer skirt (gathered)
4 pieces of bodice panel (a,b,c,d)
1 layer of sleeve
Inner dress:
2 layer of inner skirt (no gathered)
4 pieces of bodice panel (a,b,c,d)

how do you get your gathers of the skirt so pretty in panels? do i have to gather a lot in one place and then less for a little bit and then again a lot? it is so prettyyyy
your pattern should be a full circular skirt and just gather the pieces evenly🥰

The color is absolutely gorgeous!! I'm planning on sewing this myself, but I had 2 questions: What was the width of the fabric you used? And are the inner and outer skirts full circle skirts?
thankyou! the width was 150cm and yess all skirts are using the full circle skirt pattern😊

The fabric I'm looking at using is the same length as yours and I'm a bit stuck on how I can cut out a full circle skirt with a larger radius for the outer skirt and still make it fit on the fabric.

I have a question regarding the outer skirt: is the radius the lower bust x 3 or lower bust/6.28? Like which number goes where on the pattern? Cause I understand you need the larger number for the gathering effect, but then in that case why do I need the smaller number?

for the outer skirt you need a large circumference so multiply the lower bust by 3, however for the inner skirt lining simply make a normal circular skirt which is lower bust / 6.28 🥰

I have quite a big bust and underbust. Do you think this would still look good on a shape like mine? my smallest part is on the waist and an empire waist on me normally looks like i'm pregnant. lol
I think if you’re making this dress by yourself, you can lower the empire waistline a bit so that the cutting line will not be right bellow your underbust☺️💕

helloo! I got it from a fabric store near my house. I think it would be better for you to go to a fabric store instead of shopee as you can’t really see and touch the quality :(
