If you haven't been planning on buying something, just because you buy it during BFCM doesn't mean you're saving money. BFCM can trick you into having FOMO and impulse buying. Don't forget to pause and think before you buy. Stay financially healthy, everyone!
Great video, with how many keyboards come out every year many of us (especially me lol) struggle with maintaining a healthy interest in the hobby. I like the point you made about things going wrong even if you do research, the number of people who have lost interest in the hobby after a terrible group buy experience is probably pretty high. Imo, the most fulfilling thing in the hobby is designing your own boards. It's not for everyone, and can get pricey fast, but getting a good prototype of something you designed is a feeling unparalleled.
Thanks for the kind words! Haha, I agree. Sometimes, hobbies have a shelf life and/or breaks definitely have to be taken. Yeah, I feel for people that have had bad GB experiences, through no fault of their own... I'm looking forward to seeing how your prototype(s) turn out! I bet it's been a fun yet somewhat challenging process!
