For phd application you need MS completion letter by the time you can find out the supervisors.

Application deadline depends upon the university so check which university you want to apply. It’s same application for PhD and scholarship.

Yes you can work along but it’s hard to get such jobs . As a student you are allowed to work 20 hrs per week normally but right now till June 2023 Australian government has no restrictions on working hrs. It will be very costly if you didn’t get any good job.

you can apply for student visa along with your dependent in a same application if you are apply fresh and can come together. if you are apply for your spouse while you are here. I think you need to show based on 1000$ per month. you can apply via immiaccount.

you can look for professors based on area of interest at different universities websites. job is purely depend upon your skills and strong CV. based on your work you can see which journal publish those kind of work and can submit your work there.. I hope this helps..

yes, usually fee scholarship and living allowance result you will get along with offer letter. Yes, you can approach many professors but can apply with only one professor as your PhD supervisor.

Glad you liked our content. For couple 30k is very tight at the current scenario. No, you have to look for yourself though you can apply for accommodation at university. Also, some universities do provide hop-on buses..

If you don’t have living allowance scholarship, yes you have to show funds. I recently made a video on -student visa- there I tell the fund calculation in detail.

Hi - if some one got admission in university of Melbourne in PhD program on self basis. Is it must to block amount in bank for 1 year or during visa process should it be enough showing 3 months bank statement
till visa process or you entered in the country. upto 6 months bank statement is fine.

Australia is not issusing visa to Most Indian and Chinese PhD candidates currently. But they are not refusing either. They keep the application without an outcome until the candiate withdraws. However a small % of applications are issued a visa after several months.

At present australia allowed to work full time due to labour shortage ,but can a phd student work full time during regular rules?
That rules is till June 2023 only . Otherwise a student can work only upto 20 hrs. During holidays or semester break they can work full time.

If it’s written on that website then it’s fine. Usually they ask for all educational documents but if the university don’t require then good.
