      Hi Mahmoud. Thank you for your question. if you have published your research in international or a local journal or a conference it’s still counts so please consider applying for the PhD scholarship and don’t let this stop you from achieving your dreams.

      For this year the deadline is 31st October

    Is there a specific time when applocation opens or can we apply at anytime by checking their websites?

    • @VidyPotdar
      @VidyPotdar  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      PhD applications are open throughout the year so you can apply any time. However, if you are required to do some coursework units, then those will begin only two times in a year if it’s a semester based program or three times a year if it is a trimester. so you could be bit more strategic when you apply or even if you apply at any time and you’re required to do coursework then you could be able to do it when it is next available thank you

    Suppose if somone did not get any positive response from a supervisor or relevant faculty member so then he can directly apply for Phd or not?

    • @VidyPotdar
      @VidyPotdar  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      You can always try and apply, some universities have a condition that you have to put in a name of a professor from whom You have got approval, if you have found a Professor it makes your application stronger and you will get an outcome faster, otherwise your application will be circulated within the relevant department and one of the professors would have to accept to supervise you. So ideally, I would suggest you approach a professor and then start the application process. Having said that there is no stopping for you to directly apply.
      For more information you can refer to this video where I teach you how to write an email so that you get a response from a professor.

      It depends upon which university you have graduated from and which country. There is a list that the Australian University use to assess whether the level of English at your university is considered equivalent to the universities accepted level of English.

    Hi I live in australia and i am doind advanced civil construction design it's a deploma form college so my wife is doing m.phill in mathematics her m phill will be finish in february and her 4 papers will be published so what is the best option to apply her visa i mean student visa in phd or spouse

    • @VidyPotdar
      @VidyPotdar  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If she wants to pursue her PhD then based on her four papers she should be able to get admission or even Scholarship for her PhD. So I would suggest try that first. If you go down the PhD route, she can be the student Visa holder and you can be the dependent. Recently there have been a lot of changes in the Australian Visa so I am not really up-to-date with the changes hence I would suggest you talk to some immigration agent to get some proper advice. I hope this is helpful. Thank you.

    If you have an unconditional offer and u have been accepted as conditional acceptance
    How many days will it take for CoE to come after meeting all the conditions?
    I am waiting for that COE over a month..
    If u have an offer letter, can the CoE be rejected or can I term this process as fake? It cannot be fake but university is taking so long for CoE

    • @VidyPotdar
      @VidyPotdar  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You cannot have an unconditional offer with conditions on it. So I guess you have a conditional offer where the conditions may be meeting English criteria or providing your transcripts or whatever it may be.
      If All the conditions are met the issuance of CoE will depends on the University timeline on how long it takes to issue the CoE.
      There Could be few reasons for this delay. University typically have monthly meetings where they assess all the applications that they have to assess and report back.
      You may have narrowly missed that timeline and your application is probably in the next round so it may take two months.
      If you think this is not the case then maybe you can reach out to the University admission department and ask them about the progress of your application and when would you expect to receive the CoE.

      @@VidyPotdar No NO sir. It can happen.You are correct.Uni is not responding also. I have shared attested transcripts as conditions.
      I applied through my own, later when they asked me for transcripts and all.I contacted a representative and then that person took over my application.
      But In my application portal it was written
      Type of offer : unconditional
      The university mailed me also that after fulfilling the condition they will arrange CoE.
      Acceptance type :Conditional acceptance
      I have received a scholarship from my supervisor also. I am just waiting for the CoE for over 1 month.Everything is done from my side or my representative side.
      Will I get the CoE? Ri8? Sometimes I feel they are not interested in taking me . I am in a dilemma.

    • @VidyPotdar
      @VidyPotdar  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thank you very much for your question. During your MFL have you completed or published research paper? If you have one or more research papers then you have a good chance of securing a PhD scholarship or tuition fee waiver. If however you have not published your any research paper then I suggest you do that first before applying for Scholarship. I hope this is helpful thank you. Thank you.

      Have you published your research from your BS and masters? If you have then I think you should definitely apply for PhD admission. Even if you have not published, you can still apply and mention that you have completed these two pieces of research during your studies. I hope this is helpful, thank you. If you have any further questions, please leave me a message.

      @VidyPotdar  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      You have a very good score. I would suggest that once you have the other two articles published, you can start preparing a for your scholarship application, which will make it even stronger. Most university scholarship applications have already closed, so you can prepare for next year when the scholarships open around June or July.
      Keep an eye on the universities you specifically want to apply to, as you'll need to check their scholarship opening dates. In the meantime, you can also prepare a strong research proposal to enhance your chances of securing a scholarship. Remember, it's not just your profile or publications that matter, but also the strength of your research proposal and how well it aligns with the university's research directions.
      Another thing you can do is check the strategic research plan for the university to see what research areas they are interested in. I hope this helps you prepare your application effectively. If you have any further questions, please feel free to comment again.
      Thank you.

      Namaste! That’s wonderful that you’ve completed your masters in botany. If you’re interested in pursuing PhD in Australia, you’ll need to first find a good supervisor who is working in your area of interest. Check university websites for available PhD projects, prepare a strong research proposal, and make sure you meet the English language requirements. All the best for your PhD journey!

    I am from India. I did masters in physics and education. Can you give me an advice which area has better scope as i want to pursue my phd from Australia. And also please tell me is it necessary to had two research papers before applying for PhD in australia.

    • @VidyPotdar
      @VidyPotdar  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey so both physics and education can have good opportunities for a PhD in Australia it really depends on what you are more passionate about and where you see yourself long term
      In physics there’s a lot of cutting-edge research happening in areas like quantum computing renewable energy and space technology. If you’re into experiments and pushing boundaries of science this could be a great field with strong future prospects Plus Australia has some great universities with strong physics departments
      On the other hand if you’re more into education and research about learning systems teacher training or education policy there’s also demand for that especially with a global focus on improving education systems. You could end up shaping future education practices which is pretty cool too
      As for having two research papers before applying it’s not a strict requirement everywhere in Australia Some universities or supervisors may look for research experience but it doesn’t have to be two papers specifically You could show your research potential in other ways like a strong research proposal or related work experience It’s always a good idea to contact potential supervisors and ask about their specific requirements
      Good luck with your decision Hope this helps!
      Vidy
