Can we all just take a moment to appreciate how well Novalogic produced games back in their day? Some of the most realistic and well made games to date, on par with Valve games.
@@fastwing3295 I think when I posted this, I didn't understand that Novalogic games were just these arcade-like flight sims. "Simcades" I think is what they're called. I didn't know how to describe them so I posted this. Yeah they're nothing like DCS, much less whatever the classified sim is that DCS is based on. But they do highlight some elements of realism. It's all just really boiled down though which makes them a lot of fun for me in comparison to learning DCS. I also don't at all understand my comparison to Valve games.

Did you actually hear that in the game? I assume “iron troops” means friendly ground forces. I’m not sure why they would be called “iron troops”, however. Sounds cool though.
@@Sleepy1988 There was a mission in Mig-29 fulcrum as well, where you had to save an american ground group. The American group was designated Iron Troop.

In some of the need for speed games like Need For Speed 3, the music when ur racing would trigger different tunes depending on the location of the race track . in games like F-16, MiG-29, and F-22 , it triggers just as the same which i sure as hell like . Go 1990's Gaming!!!!

Somewhere in my head, the memory of this song was related to NFS3... hahah! I just found out it was from MiG-29 Fulcrum after looking up a few air combat simulation games here on TH-cam... XD
@formuna101: Whoa, the music wasn't merely triggered by the location on track in NFS3, the music was "Interactive" (an option you could disable in the Music menu etc.). The music would change depending on any actions you took in the car like crashes or being pulled over by the Crown Vics in the game. I still can't forget flying through Red Rock Canyon in a Diablo evading the man!
Ahhh memories. I remember, back in the day (in 1999), when my country was bombed, when the air raid sirens would go off, I would go inside, turn on my PC and run this gem of a game, while at the same time imaginig that I am shooting down the planes bombing my country.
